Good Food

Service was very good. Menu choice was limited but decent. I ate there a few times and each time the food was good. Prices are reasonable. I'd go back.

Hands down, my favorite pub on the planet. It has the right feel. Friendly. Small. Warm. Cozy. Lots of humorous and entertaining decor that fits their rustic ski-town theme. Great beer selection. Good bar. Get there asap apres ski for a seat! Bonus: Great live music and cover bands on a few nights every week. The food is good pub... More

Best wing joint in E-Ville. Great bar atmosphere and the bartender was courteous and helpful. Always made sure everything was good every ten minutes or so. Wings are worth dying for. Great bar food to catch a Sabres game.

The menu is typical bar food but there is a good selection of regional craft brews , the servers are responsive, and the crowd is friendly and ecclectic. What we like the best though is the live music starting usually around 8 pm. By 10 pm the place is rocking, the dance floor is usually lively, and the young and... More

Good solid food, Beef on Weck!!, friendly service, local establishment, Skiers welcome and given helpful hints by barstaff who are all involved in industry. Nice folks as clientele, just a good solid fun local place!

We often eat at the Gin Mill after skiing at Holiday Valley. It has a very casual atmosphere and in the evenings there is live music and folks seem to be having a good time. We are usually in urgent need of food and drink and not entertainment so we sit in the back room. The food is good and we've... More

Small pub, that was extremely crowded when we got there thurs evening at 0730. although it was self seating, when I asked the waitress if she might have a table she kindly took us in order of our arrival. Our drinks came quick but had to wait for dinner about 20mins(busy++). Meals were plentiful but very rich, we had 2... More

Was looking for another restaurant and found The Gin Mill. They had one of the best French Onion soups I have had in some time. Had their specialty burger with fries and couldn't eat all of the fries. My lunch was VERY good. Would definately go back again, when in area.

A Rustic, Western New York restaurant with a decent beer selection and menu variety to please pretty much all in the family! I recommend the Greek Salad!

The Gin Mill offers the best food for the lowest price in Ellicottville. It's a great place to eat a late lunch or dinner.
