Bar food. Good chicken wings. Good price. Friendly and good service. Happy hour is worthwhile if you can handle crowds.

I read about this place in the Ellicottville newspaper when we first arrived and was most intrigued by the live music. We had also driven by it several times on our way in and out of the resort and it always looked busy. A bit of quick research on the restaurants website and the reviews on TA encouraged us to... We happened to walk past the Gin Mill one night on a recent visit, looking for some live music, and were astounded how crowded and packed the place was for such a very remote and rural town. The band was pretty decent and the crowd was younger than in Balloons a block away, so it had more of a pick... More

Usual pub style decor but fu reading the signs posted around the room. The burger was very good-juicy, huge and done just right. Fries were very very tasty. So filling, had appetizers for dinner as wasn't very hungry yet. Would definitely return.

Waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. Food was just ok,it seemed more like a local hang out, and they catered more to them? The Rest. was clean.

Stopped here for lunch one day and got to eat in the seats right in the window area. It was fun to watch the people walk by. The place has TVs so you can watch sports or whatever is on, there are some video games as well. Burger was great! There are a few stuffed animal heads in there. While... More

On a rainy Sunday, we decided a late lunch was in order. Dinas' looked back up and we were worried service would be slow. So we popped over to the Gin Mill. A packed place is always a good sign of action and food turnover. This time was no exception. Beef on Weck and a BLT platter were piled high... More

We dropped in Saturday evening and really enjoyed the hopping atmosphere for dancing and drinks - the band was great, the music was continuous and the crowd was pumped. A great evening!! We returned on a Sunday evening, and it was much different for dinner on Sunday. Of course we expected the quiet; and the service was still very good.... More
