Any port in a storm proved to be the Triangle Pub at a crossroads in Eastport, Long Island, New York. While trying to make my way to Westhampton in blinding rain, I stumbled into this place and found it to be packed with cheery drinkers at the bar and with eager eaters, including children in the side dining room. Served... More

Here with my wife, based on her recollection of having a great burger in the past, visiting with my late mother- in-law. She likes them really rare. They over-cooked the first effort, took it back and corrected the problem. I had one of the "specials," Kielbasa with Sauerkraut, and it was very good. The bar here, as other reviewers indicate,... This is a local pub (small) mostly a restaurant. The wait staff are awesome and friendly. The best place for a burger and fries. Best price around. The mussels are awesome. Very reasonably priced. Some other dishes I have had I really wasn't happy with, might have been the day. I mainly go for the burgers!

The food is consistently good; best burgers ever. In addition to the regular menu, there are always specials. Not a fancy place and must walk past the bar to get to the restaurant. Reasonable prices. Not a large wine selection.

Mostly the best hamburgers around. Big and fresh meat. There pasta dishes are very large and at a great price. Now the BAD Te seafood dishes are rip off. All there meat diners are IQF so not going to get rare prime rib. It cooked like a steak it comes out like a steak would come out. Most of the... More

In 1990 we were dragged by friends to this little dive before 3D was popularized..the table clothes and carpets were literally a bit tacky but the burgers were delicious and generous, the ribs amazing and the mussels divine.I hated walking through the smoke filled bar but hey a meals a meal when you're hungry.. we never looked back.I loved seeing Great... I have been going to the Triangle for many years (even under different owners) and while it will never be fancy, I generally know what to expect. The service has usually been excellent and many of the waitresses have been there for many years. My favorites have always been the burgers (real meat, not hockey pucks), steamed muscles, the twin... The place comes highly recommended. You walk in to a bar and turn right to dine. It can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud and sometimes obnoxious. The food is good considering the atmosphere and the burgers are the best around as we have heard from many suffolk town residents. Burgers, tidbits, fritters and shrimp dijon are favorites.
