I visit once a year. Each time we meet ild friends at the Egg Plant. They are efficient, delicious, and very inviting. Always look forward to coming back. The kids Mickey mouse pancakes are a huge deal!

Clean, bright, delicious. A stop at the Eggplant is always a perfect moment for delicious, inexpensive breakfast. My wife and I have been going for 10 years fairly regularly, and we are greeted with the same friendly smiles, get fast and personal service, and leave with smiles. The severs are some of the nicest people in the business, and they keep... More

Omlets had no flavor, really. Coffee watery. Adding bacon, juice, one pancake, coffee, kicked price over 35 bucks for two. Not as good as it used to be. We went for old times' sake.

After reading all the reviews and even the enthusiastic endorsement by the hotel desk clerk, I had very high expectations for the Egg Plant. Well, the service by Judy was outstanding but....the pancakes were fair, the sausage fair and they even use Mrs. Butterworth's syrup (from the bottle) for their maple-flavored topping. (Note: Mrs. Butterworth's first ingredient is high fructose... More

My wife and I decided to try the "Egg"on a recent Sunday afternoon. The first hint of trouble should have been that none of the diners around us had any food. ....the table and bench were wet, not damp, from the previous cleaning. I used a few napkins to wipe off both before sliding in. We were offered water quickly,... More

Felt like a quick bite after a late night event. Turned into a long drawn out affair with the worst service I have experienced. Slow to get water, slow to order, slow arrival of mediocre food that varied in temperature. Small portions, high prices. I couldn't get coffee refills except when I stood up and approached the server and then... More

They have really good breakfast food. Depending when you go, you may have to wait a bit. Excellent coffee and omelets big enough to share!

Great for made to order omelets. Fresh ingredients and great coffee. Service is a little slow but it's worth the wait. Try a toasted honey bun if you're in the mood to break your diet--share it with the table.

I have been going to the All Night Eggplant for over 30 years. I admit, I haven't been there much in recent years, but my mom wanted to go there for their banana walnut pancakes. Granted, it was Sunday morning and I expected a wait to be seated. We waited about 15 minutes and then got a table. However, the... More

stopped for breakfast with a long time Syracuse resident. Quick service, good food quality, and a nice relaxed atmosphere! Definately a local spot..
