Very quiet and with wonderful good. Portions are very sizable and the key lime cheesecake was awesome. The calamarie steak was best with the wine or cocktail sauce.

My last visit was ok so I decided to give it a second shot. Well, that was a mistake too. We were seated in the back of the restaurant where it is was freezing. The waitress appeared to be indifferent and did not reseat us after numerous complaints. The calamari was salty and greasy. The chicken in the Caesar salad... More

We stayed in East Syracuse when dropping our daughter off to college. We were looking for good Italian food and found Joey's on Trip Advisor. They have fine dining downstairs and casual dining upstairs. Having children we decided to go upstairs and the atmosphere was family friendly. The food was amazing and the price was just right. I had the... More

My husband was under the weather. So we opted for carryout. Joey's was fast and delicious. Generous Italian bread was included. We had more than we could eat.

After reading the reviews, and noting it has received an award from trip advisor, we were sadly disappointed. The restaurant is located downstairs - and the carpet had an old, musty, seldom-cleaned that permeated the stairwell. My son and I shared fried calamari which was ok, as was my wife's minestrone soup. The salads came out next. It was clear... More

In Syracuse on business; staying at a nearby hotel; looked up nearby restaurants and found Joey's. This is a nice Italian place that gives you two choices: Downstairs, a bit more formal Italian dining. Upstairs, Joey's Pronto, very nice but a bit more casual. We chose upstairs, and it was wonderful. I chose eggplant parmesian, and it may have been... More

I was in Syracuse on business and ate at this restaurant twice. The restaurant is very nice but still casual. The service was awesome both times. They make their own pasta and sell jars of their sauce. The first night I had eggplant parmesan, which was sooo good. The second time I had the salmon sauteed with capers and artichokes.... More

My brother recommended Joey's restaurant when he heard we'd be spending the night in Syracuse on our way between Ohio and Vermont. As luck would have it, we arrived at dinner time and found Joey's very easily. Both our meals were delicious with tender, tasty homemade pasta, a fresh, crisp salad and fabulous bread. The service was also friendly and... More

We ate here during our visit with friends to Syracuse. The food was very good, portions were large and not too expensive. The service was excellent. Homemade fettucine tasted so fresh! Our waiter (sorry do not remember his name), was very nice and even took pictures of our table for us.
