The steaks and portions here are amazing, and the brunches for special occasions are out of this world! Staff is attentive and pleasant.

my wife's favorite place to go for a special event dinner. fresh mozzarella is very good. used to prefer it when they served it warm. steaks and the steak sauce are very good. steak comes out more rare when you order it rare than black and blue, for whatever reason. save room for the chocolate cake. ask for extra ice... Good food, reasonable prices, attentive staff, but a bit stuck up. Some of the customers are a bit full of themselves. Besides that, the fresh mozzarella to start was very good, and you could tell it was hand wrapped and fresh. The filet was tender, cooked perfectly, and very flavorful. The sides were your average steakhouse sides. The dessert was... More

Rothman's is one of several steakhouses owned by the Scotto family. I think it was their first high end one. I think it is still their best. The steaks are first rate, but there are a lot of other menu items to choose from for the non-beef eaters. That makes it a more friendly place to go for some groups... More

Rothmann's is our favorite steak house on Long Island, surpassing in quality all the "big name" steak houses. A very diverse menu, welcoming staff who know you by name and great food.

But we were underwhelmed. The wait staff were quite unfriendly and unattentive. We were not offered drinks for about 15 minutes after seating. After I finished my cocktail, everyone but myself were poured red wine. The Caesar salad was tasty but meager. The boneless rib eye was cooked as orderd (medium rare), but was not very tasty and quite tough.... More

The best steak restaurant on Long Island. The foodand service are first class. I have never seen the sweat suit crowd here. And unlike other big steak houses, the wait staff are trained professionals not high schoolers. Love it!

Delicious, with a very attentive staff. Try the porterhouse to share with someone else - listed as for 2 (but you can add a 3rd person if you can't find a 4th).

So old that President Roosevelt ate there. TEDDY Roosevelt. Generous drinks at the bar, perfectly made. Classic steakhouse menu. Excellent service. Food is cooked exactly as you ask. Choose your wine - expensive or more modest, but either will be a perfect fit, just tell the wine steward your price range. This is the way Long Island used to be... More
