I always try to ask the locals for restaurant recommendations. What a find Majors is. I knew I was in for a treat when I sat down and they brought out a bowl of whole Half dill and Kosher pickles to go along with my local brew selection. The onion soup was a great starter. The steak was perfectly done.... More

We were a party of 10 visiting for a pre-graduation dinner. We all had something different from steak to seafood. All of our food came out done to our liking. The service was great especially during a very busy time. Would definitely return when in the area again. Don't order the prime rib unless you are really hungry!

Went with my husband and two toddlers. Kids menu: chicken tenders, grilled cheese, hot dog. Service was fast and friendly. Caesar salad with grilled chicken and prime rib were delicious.

It's no Peter Lugers but it's also nowhere near the price of Peter Lugers. The signature steaks are excellent. Everything else is good. Again, for what you pay, you get a good meal in a nice atmosphere. I love the Colorado steak with garlic & challots and the garlic mashed is incredible. The actually top them with slices of roasted... More

Major's, owned by Bryant & Cooper, serves excellent quality steaks at more reasonable prices than their parent restaurant. The "Majors Steak" ribeye is a large, tasty cut, just right for hearty appetites. Strip steaks are flavorful and well marbled, while the filet is tender, tasty, and a good value. Steaks are cooked to order, but a note of caution, they... More

Although I do not eat too much red meat, when I do, it is often at Majors because I know that my steak will always be perfectly prepared, the servers terrific, and and prices moderate...not cheap but not ridiculous either. For a solid steak, ribs, burgers, etc. count on Majors.

Majors is a great place for steaks and burgers. They also have specials which usually include some type of seafood choices. This is my "go to" place for a great lunch when I'm looking for a perfect burger or steak sandwich. The salad with bleu cheese is basic but perfect. Just what I look for. And everything is always cooked... More

We selected Major's Steakhouse as an affordable choice to celebrate my husband's birthday. We new it was owned by Bryant & Coopers which is an excellent steakhouse, but out of our budget for this occasion. Well, this was definitely not a celebration. My husband ordered the two 8 oz. lobster tails @ $26.95. When served, we thought they made a... More

The steaks are mostly very good: however you could get meat a little tough to chew! The side dishes are just ok. It is NOT the best steakhouse on Long Island. It IS a good neighborhood steak joint.

Been there many times. Usually had decent food, good service, and a good time. But it only takes one horrible experience to write the place off, and it happened last night. Paid 32.50 for shoe leather. When we told the waitress she immediately said "I'll send the manager over" as if this happens all the time. The manager was condescending... More
