One of my favorite restaurants, especially the downstairs Tavern in the winter. Ask to be seated in the garden in the summer - just beautiful with great food.

This is a very pretty restaurant , and a very special outdoor eating spit on a clear warm evening.....whether inside or out, the food and service are Excellent......as you might always expect at the 1770 house.....they also have a lower key pub in a downstairs setting!

Whether you are downstairs in the pub for a great burger or upstairs for something romantic and special, you cannot lose. The food and service are amazing. Oysters to die for. Yup, I had the venison ragout...fabulous road kill! kidding! Consistently good. My Two glass of Pinot Noir is what gets your pocketbook...$28.

This is the second time i've been here and its just wonderful. From start to finish, this is one of the best meals I ever had. The service is impeccable, the food is divine. We started out with salads, both were incredibly fresh and delicious, also a nice sized portion. We then had the halibut, which was amazing. Dessert was... More

Outstanding food and service from start to finish. Quiet and romantic setting with a great variety of choices. We opted to share a creative twist on an appetizer salad of prosciutto, melon and fresh mozzarella- what an amazing combo. I chose the most precisely cooked filet mignon while my husband opted for halibut. Both meals were prepared to perfection. Being... More

What more can you say about the 1770 House...superb service, great location, outstanding food. Always a winner. Even on a weekday night, we met several of our friends and neighbors who were dining there also.
