Description: Veteran restaurateurs David Loewenberg and Michael Nolan teamed up to open Fresno in the spring of 2004. The New American menu emphasizes simple yet sophisticated preparations of local fare. Located on the edge of the village of East Hampton, the space is an airy, sky lit room featuring a wall of French doors overlooking a landscaped patio with a fountain where one may enjoy outdoor dining under a pergola. In the dining room, there is a long upholstered banquette along the opposite wall and a sleek zinc bar on the back wall anchors the space.

I've gone to Fresno about four times in the last seven months. I love their staff, interior and their food. They just go that extra mile and don't rush you by taking away your food or hovering over your table. I've never had a bad dish. In fact usually, everything I've eaten there before had been remarkably good. Last night my... More

We had weekend reservations, no wait so that was a great start. We enjoyed our appetizers, entrees and desserts and thought the presentations were trendy and country chic. The food all seemed very fresh and very tasty. Our waitress was average.

This is restaurant week. A little skeptical as sometimes food is not up to par during this time. However I cannot say this was the case at Fresno. The entrees were amazing. Each dish had a different taste like no other. Nothing was over seasoned. As presented the food was not only good to look at but served aT the... More

We hadn't eaten at Fresno for a while, but with Hamptons restaurant week we decided to give it a try. Three courses were $27.95 and they had a nice selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious and a nice touch was serving martinis in individual shakers. We definitely will return this season at regular prices.

Always like to pick a top-shelf place for our last night place before flying home and Fresno did not disappoint. Our family of four had salmon, the pork chop, mussels and the osso buco and each was excellent. The Prix Fixe menu was a good value (considering we are in the Hamptons) and they poured a very generous glass of... More

Staff was nice, especially the hot bartender, who was as professional to my male boss as he was to the bevy of hot chicks surrounding the bar. Food was great. I can't wait to come back when the weather's nice and enjoy the patio. Drinks were fresh and nicely done, also.

A lot of the place out here on the East End of Long Island tend to think, Welp let's just throw a bunch of food together haphazardly, slap an expensive price on it and call it a day.. because Hey it's the hampton's right.. Not Fresno. You can tell there was thought and care put into the ingredients. Everything was... More

East Hamton was hopping this past Saturday but we managed to score an 8 pm reservation at Fresno. The meal was expected, good food reliably prepared, no surprises, I had the veal chop, medium rare with a gratin of root vegetables and roasted brussel sprouts, delish. My husband and our friendhad the short ribs, he deemed my dish better but... More

When my husband and I went to dine there, everything was fine until the end of the meal. My husband ordered the fixed menu, and he got the mold in his chocolate mousse. At first, we thought it was a frost, but, it was a mold. We told our waitress, and, of course, she was surprised. No apologies. She never... More
