East Hampton's Fresno is unlike any other Hamptons restaurant mainstay. Think European sensibilities: more Provence than New York, more old world than traditional, more food, and more wine. The atmosphere service and food is delightful . A little on the pricey side , though guaranteed to satisfy . i find it a bit noisy if its really crowded , so the earlier you arrive the quieter the meal - be it a steak , burger or seafood there is something for everyone Enjoy

I've seen Fresno change owners over the years and the latest is a wonderful combination of terrifically prepared cuisine, casual but elegant ambience, and good service. The outdoor veranda for dining during warmer temperatures is like being in Tuscany in the summer. Recommend reservations well in advance during the summer season. A true delight and treat!

We were recommended to Fresno by another chef in Montauk and were not disappointed. Fresno has indoor and outdoor seating under a pergola roof with room so spare among the tables. Among outstanding dishes was a chilled avocado soup puree and chicken pate for starters. The entrees of osso bucco and hangar steak matched the appetizers. The wait staff was... More

I love the beauty of the Hamptons, but the hype and attitude around many of the restaurants can be a bit much. Had dinner at Fresno, and it was a breath of fresh air. Service was attentive, the food was from local, fresh ingredients and was well prepared. My husband had a striped bass special that was one of the... More

Fresno is an oasis of deliciously inventive farm-fresh food. The difficult part is choosing just one starter and entrée from Fresno's wonderful menu. For my entrée I chose the Spaghettini with crab and artichokes, which was perfectly balanced and rich with flavour. The Watermelon Salad is also refreshingly succulent. My companions (for their entrées) chose the special Sea Bass with... More

I should do two reviews for this restaurant - one from my perspective and one from the family! They would give it a 5 but I bring down the average as I chose a bad main course. The menu was so complicated and overly detailed. Each dish could lose 3 or 4 ingredients and it would be really nice. But... More

Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Food was flavorful and hearty. Desserts were outstanding, especially the s'more pie. Worth the trip slightly off the main road.

An ever reliable stand-by with a trusty menu, capable staff, on-site attentive owner and upscale yet local ambiance, Lively bar area along with inside and outside dining, fine Wine List, reasonable corkage fee, fresh local seafood, and a great Burger too. No better restaurant in East Hampton, and everybody knows it. Reserve.

We had a lovely dinner last night on the outside courtyard at Fresno. The ambiance in this area is very nice. All five of us had very tasty meals including the salmon tartare, the mussels, the pork chop and the special of NY strip loin steak. Highly recommended to visit while in east hampton.
