Good farm-to-table restaurant near East Hampton railroad station.

Very fresh fish, meats and veggie dishes well-served in small restaurant with bar, indoor seating and outdoor garden seating. Prix fixe available on several evenings.

If you visit east Hampton you need to check out fresno's. Call for a reservation because you won't be the only one there. Chef Alex Fargardo prepared some amazing dishes. Try the veal chop the hangar steak or the sea bass. You will love it.

Very nice restaurant with great food and great service. The salmon was excellent as was the osso bucco.

We took advantage of the fixed price dinner before 6:30. We enjoyed a refreshingly cold cucumber soup and a very fresh salad. I enjoyed the salmon and my wife enjoyed her mussels. The desserts looked delicious but we were full and passed. We ate "outdoors" in their courtyard which was very comfortable and relaxing. Very nice restaurant avoiding the busy... More

Fresno is a regular choice of East Hampton locals for casual dining. It's not a see-and-be-seen restaurant. No fancy decor and no need to dress to impress. There's a large bar that has a video screen, is lively and is fully stocked. The restaurant menu is eclectic and has something for everybody: pasta, chicken, fish, pork chops, fries. All the... From outside, Fresno is quiet. When you walk in the door, the barrage of noise and movement makes you wonder whether you'll be able to enjoy a nice conversation or be jostled around as you try and eat. Thankfully, that was not the case. Even though the place was booked solid when we arrived, we were seated within a few... More

Well, let's start with a phone call saying we needed to arrive a half hour earlier than our reservation, and when we did, let's do a speedathon so we can get you out before the next seating, and, no, didn't dawdle. Food really average. Mains arrived as starters (tuna tartare w/avocado good) were removed. Hanger steak not cooked to order,... More

We decided to venture out in a thunderstrom because we had read good reviews of Fresno. It did not disappoint! We arrived early so we sat at the bar and had a drink and ordered an appetizer. The bar tender was so nice and fun that we debated staying for our entire meal. But we didn't and actually sat in... More

We visited Fresno last year and returned again this year. Great and friendly service matched by the food. We started with a salad and chicken liver pate which is served in small mason jars. Delightful. For the mains, we had the signature hamburger and steamed mussels, both of which were outstanding. Compared to the many "named" spots in the Hamptons,... More

I eat at bars. The drinks come faster and you get to know--somewhat, the guys behind the bar. If you're not gazing at them, then the food is an equal sumptuous attraction. Great special steaks, wonderful hummus appetizers, chicken parm...never had a bad meal there in a decade. Excellent! And inches from the EH train station. Hop off the train... More
