Noisy Scene

As always good food, but this is truly the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. It has become a "scene." The crowd is boorish & actually scream from table to table. When Tomas managed it, it had class!

Have been to the palm many times and always a good meal. Count on the steaks being great and great sides. Stay away from Friday nights as the most crowded.

I'm normally pretty picky when it comes to meat, but the 9oz steak I had at the Palm last night was perfect. There was not a bite left on anyone's plate :-) not a budget place to eat, so we don't go to often, but it's well worth it when we do go, great food, friendly helpful staff, can feel... More

I have been going to this Palm for thirty years or maybe 25, anyway a long time! It is noisy, it is busy. Sometimes you can't get in, sometimes you have to wait but everytime it delivers. We love the Monday nite salad without the anchovies, the steak, the lobster, the monster potatoes, the spinach- leaf or creamed, the Gigi... More

Exceptional restaurant to go to if you're in the mood for steak (or even Chicken Parmigiana!). Service was attentive and food was solid throughout - only complaint is that the space between the tables is tight causing the wait staff to continuously bump into the back of my chair throughout the dinner. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite steak... More

This is our 3rd visit to the Palm in 3 consecutive summers. Next summer when we plan our holiday, this will be one of the first reservations that we'll make. Beautiful filet mignons, onion rings, potato au gratin, delicious desert. Excellent wine list, went with the Educated Guess Merlot. Simply beautiful with the perfectly prepared beef. Has yet to fail... More

Food is overrated, price is overpriced. Restaurant is loud. Staff is condescending. Place to be if you want to rub shoulders with hedgefunders and 35 year olds looking to be picked up. Best thing on the menu is the GiGi salad

Had Dinner at The Palm in EH first week in August with friends. Food, service and ambience was spot on as usual. Never disappointed at this East Hampton institution. Have a steak and a half and half with a glass of wine.

This Palm is situated in a lovely old Inn right on Main Street. It's part of a group of Palm restaurants so there's nothing different than if you visit the Palm in Dallas. Portions are huge and sharing is encouraged. It's famous for seafood and lobsters and steak as well. The big room can be noisy so be prepared.

Always busy at mealtimes, this East Hampton institution (longtime branch of venerable Manhattan steakhouse) is known for its steaks, lobsters, fried onion loaf, creamed spinach and Italian specialties. Dark wood interior with pressed tin ceiling and separate bar area.
