We spent a wonderful first night in east hampton and dined at The Palm. Our waiter, Garrett was outstanding in his knowledge of the food and honesty of portion size. The food was exceptional, the side orders are certainly enough for between 2-4 portions. It was a wonderful restaurant and we will be returning before we leave. Thank you to... More

The palm is a place you will never leave hungry , unlike many Hampton restaurants that serve you pretty plates which leave you nothing but hungry. You won't leave the Palm hungry , the service e is great and the food matches the service e , the setting is a bit loud when crowded but a great meal just the same... It's hard to fault the service or the food at The Palm, but the experience felt a little stuck in a time warp for us and we'll be playing it less safe at future Hamptons' mealtimes.

If you like retro appetizers like wedge salad, jumbo shrimp, good greens, great steaks and minimum carbs consumed in rooms filled with with loud, competitive talkers- well, welcome to The Palm. We scored a super corner table and began with big martinis (do avoid some spots where tiny glasses insult this classic libation) before moving on to a bottle of... More

This is our second home where we go to get a good basic meal and celebrate occasions and to stick to our diets if we so choose. It is noisy and expensive but if you can sit on the porch not so noisy. The staff knows our family and makes us feel special. The service is excellent no matter where... More

The Palm is always fun, but the food, at least at this location, had come down in quality over the past couple of years. Having been a few times recently I'm glad to say it's back on the right track! A hidden gem among the menu offerings is the chicken parmigiana. Don't miss it. Service always top notch. Drinks big... More

We went to the Palm on a Thursday evening before the height of the dinner rush. We had a lovely table on their enclosed porch, for lack of a better description. Started with the calamari and the lobster bisque. We both had the filet mignon, shared the creamed spinach and the world's biggest baked potato. Didn't have room for dessert.... More

I was really looking forward to our night at the Palm, having booked as far in advance as I could on Open Table. Arriving at the restaurant reception area, we were totally ignored by the female attendant. After standing for an awkward period of time a male staff member acknowledged us and sat us at a table. The place was... More
