I love John Papa's, this place is great for lunch and I've never had anything I didn't like. This is the most reasonable place to eat price-wise in the area, and the staff are always friendly. The Greek salad is loaded with feta and the dressing is delish! Friends had a special of fish pita and salad, along with breakfast... More

This place is like home. I always order a Greek salad with tuna salad on top. Or a Greek burger. It's friendly, comfortable, no-nonsense, and unpretentious. A godsend in the ridiculously pretentious scene that poor old East Hampton has become. That said, it's absurdly overpriced. My favorite Greek salad with tuna on top is something like $17 bucks. C'Mon! I... More

While in Montauk, we decided to take in a movie. The closest was the theater in East Hampton. Next we wanted to find a place to eat, with a casual atmosphere. While searching on line we came across John Papas Cafe. We weren't disappointed. A very nice breakfast menu, which was tempting but we chose a cheeseburger and salad. A... More

This modest restaurant run by a Greek Family is a wonderful stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive (almost diner size) and everything is prepared fresh. Great place for a casual meal with the kids or dinner before a movie. They serve sandwiches and burgers, salads, breakfast all day, plus a handful of specials each day. There... More

Not a secret to locals..and celebrity residents as well. John Papas always delivers good food, great value, and homey friendly service. Their Greek salad with grilled chicken is the best in town, and what a bargain!

A stone's throw from The Palm at the Huntting Inn, in the parking lot behind Luxury Row (nee Main Street), John Papas will fill your belly without emptying your pockets, 3 squares a day. No pop-up gourmet eatery. Papas is there year round, long after the glitterati have shuttered their windows and moved away for the winter. Dyslectics call it... More
