We found John Papas to be quite good for basic breakfast option in East Hampton. The food was prepared to order, portioned to our liking (not too much, not too little), and the service was good. The restaurant always had people there but it was never crowded.

My family & I have always had a good experience here. The service has always been attentive & helpful. My wife & daughters say the chicken souvlaki is the best. Good place for a quick, & reasonably priced meal before or after a movie.

We went there for lunch because I saw that the place had got great grades on Tripadvisor, and were very disapointed. I should have read the reviews and seen that most of them focus on the breakfast. The meat in our Papas burgers was not very good, the food was greasy and service was not great either. For dessert we... More

We recently visited for breakfast. Food was nice and fresh and reasonably priced. My husband enjoyed and omelet and I had an egg sandwich. Service pleasant and attentive.

We sat at the counter and saw the attention to making sure that the coffee was freshly made. I would recommend that as a side you order the corned beef. It was a welcome change from bacon or ham. It was very tasty and it was neither too fatty nor over salted. The French toast was excellent either from Challah... More

In the heart of East Hampton Village, is this small diner with good food, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Locals love it! Great for breakfast and lunch, especially, with dinner expectations to be on the light side. You'll often be sitting next to some local artist or celebrity who's there for a quiet breakfast or an easy meeting.Prices are... More

Very efficient service, incredibly polite and friendly staff, good food - and not just breakfast, convenient location in the Village, like a Club where you meet your neighbors and friends.

We went there for lunch on a late autumn sat afternnoon . We chose it because it looked clean and very unpretentious as we walked by. The place was buzzin with the lunch crowd and we were seated quickly at a cozy table for two. Make no mistake it was strictly the basics. A spinich omlette and home fries for... More
