The onion soup was wonderful of a cold day. The burgers are large enough to share. We had a very nice lunch with local diners

Tucked away at the end of a Mews by East Hampton's major intersection, one could easily miss this place entirely. You really shouldn't. In warm comfy surroundings - especially in winter with a fire roaring - the menu is neither extensive nor particularly adventurous: it's just GOOD Bar Food PLUS. A nice bar with an eclectic selection of brews, the... More

The service was excellent but it wasn't somewhere I'd want to settle in for the night. It was quite rowdy and felt tired. There were 6 of us for dinner and our experience ranged from fair to the "worst fish and chips ever". Both the chips and the fish were overcooked. I had mac'n'chips which I enjoyed.

The only reason to go to Rowdy Hall is to have a drink at the bar or have a burger. Otherwise, the food is overpriced and the portions are really small. Example - my 15 year old daughter ordered the hanger steak. She finished it in 4 bites. I actually commented to the waitress about it - and I rarely... More

We are in East Hampton often, but are not fans of the restaurants on the East End, with the exceptions of a few standouts such as the North Fork Table and Inn (on the North Fork). However, we keep coming back to Rowdy Hall for lunch and the occasional dinner. Judging by the crowds, even in the off season, lots... More

Nothing fancy but the food is always good, fair prices which is hard to find the Hamptons and location is great. Can be crowded at time but usually tables open fast. You might even get to sit next to a celebrity! Burgers and onion soup are great!

Owned by the same people who run Nick and Toni's. Year round they have good old fashion and delicious and simple food. Great burgers, chicken, mussels, salmon, and fresh salads and outstanding onion soup.

Since this isn't a fancy place I was expecting good bar food. The name also threw me off. I ordered a salad with seared tuna and it was amazingly good. It's one of the better salads Ive had. We had to wait a long time for a table because it was very crowded because of the film festival but it... More

Yummy food at a reasonable price! This maybe even better then nick and tonis...same owner, but 50 % less expensive. Try the meat loaf or superb chicken, and start w the onion soup. The food is honest and with character. No fru fru designer dishes...it can be noisy, and crowded but a real gem in the land of $150m homes,... More

We went here last evening for dinner and their burgers were excellent. The French onion soup was outrageous with bubbling cheese and a sweet broth that was excellent. The hit of the party in my book was the candied bacon appetizer with a chunky blue cheese dressing on the side. I wouldn't have put bacon and blue cheese together, but... More
