The onion soup is better than we had in Paris. The burgers deserve their reputation as the best in New York. The service is good and the atmosphere is comfortable but not overly pub like. We have never had a bad meal here. Best of all the location is convenient to shopping and the movies and they are open year... More

Good ambience. Service a little slow. Great mussels on first trip, but both my wife and I were sick afterwards. Took it as an exception - and retuned for "beer and a burger" before a movie next door. Waiter, a little off hand, said couldn't do a well done burger in 45 minutes. Disappointed, we walked. Still like the place... More

Above are the best dishes. Easy comfortable place. Excellent for after a movie or to bring kids. It is a bit noisy so it is not for an intimate occaision.

Went for USA vs Germany the beer deals were great the service was friendly and quick. The only draw back was they opened at 12pm the same time the game started. So we had to get lunch elsewhere before the game. Felt they should of put a little more thought into that and had a better setup in place. We... More

We had wings, an artichoke, and the Rowdy Burger. Oh my goodness -- it was all wonderful. The wings were crisp and flavorful with excellent bleu cheese, the artichoke was prepared perfectly and the Rowdy Burger. Let me tell you. This burger was so awesome. Probably the best burger I've ever had. This was prepared to our requested temperature of... More

Not long ago at the metropolitan museum of art I ordered a rare burger and received one cooked medium well. I sent it back and was promptly served another overcooked burger. The waiter again offered to take it back but admitted that he would only bring me another overcooked burger anyway as they pre-cook them and cannot serve one rare.... More

This is a terrific pub fare in a lovely open courtyard. Very attentive service, too. Apparently a hot spot for locals but we had the entire place to ourselves at three in the afternoon.
