Yummy food at a reasonable price! This maybe even better then nick and tonis...same owner, but 50 % less expensive. Try the meat loaf or superb chicken, and start w the onion soup. The food is honest and with character. No fru fru designer dishes...it can be noisy, and crowded but a real gem in the land of $150m homes,... More

We went here last evening for dinner and their burgers were excellent. The French onion soup was outrageous with bubbling cheese and a sweet broth that was excellent. The hit of the party in my book was the candied bacon appetizer with a chunky blue cheese dressing on the side. I wouldn't have put bacon and blue cheese together, but... More

My friend and I stumbled in here for dinner one night and we both got burgers. It was honestly the best burger I think I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure why but it is. I will probably stop in again some time to see if it is consistently that good or if it was just a fluke... More

After searching around on a Saturday for an open restaurant around lunch time we ended up at Rowdy Hall (met owner at another closed restaurant who directed us there) as other places seemed all closed. Pushing a push chair with a sleeping 4 year old we were told we had to fold the pushchair up by an unfriendly waitress. So... More

Good atmosphere, very pricey. The bacon appetizer was delicious. My husband had the steak and I had mussels. I was soo sick the rest of the night, which I noticed someone else said, so stay away from the mussels!!

The onion soup is better than we had in Paris. The burgers deserve their reputation as the best in New York. The service is good and the atmosphere is comfortable but not overly pub like. We have never had a bad meal here. Best of all the location is convenient to shopping and the movies and they are open year... More

Good ambience. Service a little slow. Great mussels on first trip, but both my wife and I were sick afterwards. Took it as an exception - and retuned for "beer and a burger" before a movie next door. Waiter, a little off hand, said couldn't do a well done burger in 45 minutes. Disappointed, we walked. Still like the place... More

Above are the best dishes. Easy comfortable place. Excellent for after a movie or to bring kids. It is a bit noisy so it is not for an intimate occaision.

Went for USA vs Germany the beer deals were great the service was friendly and quick. The only draw back was they opened at 12pm the same time the game started. So we had to get lunch elsewhere before the game. Felt they should of put a little more thought into that and had a better setup in place. We... More
