Overlooking Three Mile Harbor, East Hampton Point restaurant couples a striking setting with exceptional contemporary American cuisine. The nautically themed interior features a full-size mahogany sloop with a mast that reaches the ceiling cupola, a gentle reminder of the sea just outside the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows. Chef Thomas Rougey from St. Tropez brings the sea inside with fresh caught-seafood specialties and a popular raw bar, in addition to his seasonally inspired menu. The restaurant is open from April through Labor Day. East Hampton Point is a full service resort featuring thirteen deluxe cottages, seven luxury suites, full-service marina & shop with 58 slips, heated pool, tennis court, fitness room and children's playground. Year-round, guests can enjoy fine dining at one of East Hampton Point's sister properties, The 1770 House and Cittanuova in the village of East Hampton.

Dined at the EHP! To start it all off the hostess at the door was very rude to us. I had the calamari that were cold when brought to me. We also had the lobster roll that was a bit watery. When paying 28.00 for a lobster roll it had better be good. If you are going to order anything... read more

Every year I know its summer when I make it to EHP. Considering the Hamptons are surrounded by water there is a severe lack of nice water view places to eat. At sunset the view is magnificent. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, informing us of his faves on the menu and keeping our glasses filled without being too pushy... More

We were happy diners for two delightful evenings at the sumptuous and romantic East Hampton Point last week. At our festive family gathering, we feasted on what might be the largest and most delectable shrimp on record, sweet and slightly spicy Thai calamari, mouth-watering oysters, heavenly halibut and a succulent two-pound live lobster. Our table was well cared for by... More

We have eaten at EHP regularly for over 20 years. Our dinner last Saturday was the best ever. We arrived at 7 PM, sat on the deck and relaxed while the sun went down and the fresh fish arrived. Everything was perfectly prepared, fresh and delicious. It was a memorable evening. Extra plusses: Unlike most Hamptons restaurants, we were seated... More

Although I rarely take the time to write reviews I was compelled to share my experience the other night at East Hampton Point. Our last night on our vacation in The Hamptons was spent on the deck at the elegant but beach casual EHP overlooking the incredible view of the harbor. The kaleidoscope of light that can only be experienced... More

My wife, friends and I had dinner on the deck at the East Hampton Point last night. The deck is outdoor casual dining with a more limited menu than the main restaurant. Yesterday evening was reggae night and a band was playing when we arrived. The atmosphere was party like with people dancing and singing along. It was a beautiful... More

For starters, the view at East Hampton Point is the best view on the east end and the sunsets are magical. A visit here is worth it for the view alone. To top it off - the food, wine and atmosphere make this a truly special place. My wife and I had dinner and were lucky to be seated close... More

My husband and I recently went the East Hampton Point for lunch and it was delicious. We met the new chef and he is excited to be there and what he and his crew delivered was very tasty. We met friends, there was five of us and the cheeseburger was the best I ever had. My friends had a crisp... More

Last night we went to East Hampton Point for dinner. The setting is glorious. But even more glorious was the meal. The new chef is outstanding. We both started with the calamari touched with a spicy Thai sauce. Delicious. This was followed by perfectly cooked halibut with artichokes, coucous and kale. There was not a morsel left on each of... More

We have gone to this restaurant every summer since it opened (1992). This summer (2015) the food and service were outstanding. As was the sunset on July 1st. We were not seated in the main dining area, but rather on the deck, because we wanted to be as close to the water as possible. There were no tables for two... More
