In both places the formula is the same: limited menu with excellent but not unusual food, high energy, and prices more affordable (not inexpensive) than their neighborhood rivals. If... More

Hamptons hot spot with all that implies, good and bad, especially on summer weekends. Service friendly. Given the scene do not expect reservations to be precisely honored. I could accept the very high prices, even by Manhattan standards, and the very high decibel level if the food were good. It isn't.

We went to the East Hampton Grill after a full day of sightseeing. The restaurant was packed with people. The noise level was fairly high. It is not a good place for a quiet dinner. The tuna tartare was excellent. The presentation was outstanding. The scallop salad with beets was also wonderful. Sadly, the Rib Eye was over cooked and... More

I had a terrible experience with my family this past Friday. Our reservation was not honored, the wait was horrific and the service was sub-par to say the least. Definitely would not recommend.

Best appetizers and salads, homemade flakey biscuits, fish preparations, wine selections, and the bartender makes a hell of a martini.

This upscale modern restaurant has traditional and non traditional foods for all palates. The Grilled Artichokes or any of the salads are a great way to start the meal, followed Barbeque Ribs, Specialized Hamburger or Fish. The service is excellent.

We made the reservation a week ahead asked for 7:00 PM Sunday night could not get that but got 7:15 PM. On Sunday we were running about 10 minutes late called the restaurant to tell them we would be about 10 minutes late. Was told they did not know if they could hold the table because they were over booked.... More

And not cheap, either! Nice menu--deviled eggs, the ubiquitous wedge salad, chicken, burgers and the like. Uninspiring, but delicious, nevertheless... They serve biscuits, too. But you have to pay for them--$2 each. A bit annoying. But what really annoys is the impersonal wait service. As a chain--no Applebee's or Chili's here, a meal for two with a moderate wine hits,... This entire review being dictated to me by my 7 year old son. "Amazing. Best food I've ever had in the Hamptons. I love it when my Nana takes my cousins and I here. It's hard not to fill up on biscuits before my filet mignon comes."
