Simply terrific!

It had been some time since I last dined at Race Lane. An American restaurant with attentive welcoming service. Amazing drinks, good sizes. My vodka martini was perfect! Super friendly staff. I had asparagus salad followed by salmon with cauliflower puree, sauteed kale and caper raisin emulsion... read more

A very average place with a terrible attitude - They charge $2 if you order your drink on the rocks and tell you all restaurants practice this. Unbelievable

After recently visiting 6 other restaurants in the Easthampton vicinity Race Lane comes in at the very bottom, with no other contender in place. Everything about the restaurant felt like it was suffering a case of restaurant rigor mortis. Largely empty, the service verged between non- existent and desultory. Water glasses not refilled, wine glasses empty and never asked about... More

Came here on a Saturday night in mid November. Good dinner, tasty food, nice environment. Great fireplace and food drinks. Nice service. But very slow.

Our reservation for 4 people grew to 6 then to 8, and we were accommodated with no problem - they didn't even break a sweat! All 8 of us were unanimous in our praise for the meals we had (fish, poultry, meat dishes were all done to perfection). The wine list was not extensive, but had a good variety of... More

What a dreary place. Don't eat there before, dark, the ugliness stands out. The food was awful. The owners daughter was screaming at the end of the bar (yes, she is a kid), which only added to the uncomfortable feel. The next day my poor septic system took the hit. Never, ever again.

Had dinner at Race Lane with family. Dishes are creative and flavors are complex. The tuna tartar and carpaccio were excellent. Cocktails were served cold and were of generous size. Grilled octopus had amazing texture. All in all a great meal. Place is a little noisy and a little overpriced but no more than anywhere else in the Hamptons.

Truly a terrific restaurant - and I say that not because I'm in the Hampton's, where pickings are slim - but this place can stand up to any restaurant (and I've been to MANY) whether you're in Dallas, LA, NYC, San Fran, Nappa, - Food is fantastic - try the Foie Gras, Octopus (as if you're in Sardinia!!!) or oysters,... Are you kidding me… run, do not walk away from this pretentious East Hampton wannabe. From the moment we walked in we were rudely greeted by the owner’s wife, who treated us like we were outlaws for being 5 minutes late. We should have heeded our own advice and run, instead we waited 25 minutes to be angrily seated at... More

If you're drinking and dining in East Hampton you have to go to Race Lane. The space is in a great location (the old Laundry space), and it is convenient to both the train and downtown EH. They have a beautiful dining area inside with plenty of tables and bar seating as well. One of their highlights is an outdoor... More
