Don't let the shabby appearance or the rough looking people scare you. Sharon ( the proprietor) and her son have things well under control. This place is a diamond in the rough! Breakfast, lunch and or dinner are on spot. I came for dinner and had turkey wings, Mac and cheese, collard greens and cake like cornbread. My daughter had... More

Actual hole in the wall type of restaurant. Very small facility and very hot inside. By the looks, I almost turned around and left but decided to give the food a shot, as long as I took it to go. I had the fish and shrimp combo with sweet potatoes fries and onion rings. Fish and shrimp were great. My... More

I anticipated something special when I read other reviews of this local establishment. Indeed, the staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the prices reasonable. But the food was just so so. The fish was a rather tasteless and unidentifiable specie coated in a seasoned cornmeal. I really wanted to like it, but it really didn't please me. My... More

Very casual, louisiana style fish bar. Well cooked fish, as well as black eye peas and rice. A convivial atmosphere. Lots of choice if you like desserts. The price was very good.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the unique atmosphere of this place! As you are sitting on the stool @ the front counter you can readily observe the cook hand dipping your fish or chicken or at LEAST cooking your menu item! NO frozen foods here! LOVE IT! i had the fish dinner w/ Mac-n-cheese and Cabbage sides. Absolutely FANTASTIC dish! The atmosphere... More
