Nothing fancy here, but the food's good especially beef on weck and wings. The service can be uneven when it's crowded, but not bad.

Enjoyed some WNY treats with family and friends from Ohio,Boston MA and Hamburg,NY at Wallenwein's. The roast beef on Weck was DELICIOUS! It was tender and piled high on a YUMMY salted Weck. EVERYONE enjoyed their offerings from salads, burgers, wings.wraps & roast beef. We were a party of 12 and the service by one young man decked out for today's Buffalo... More

Full disclosure, I an an East Aurora 'townie', I have been going here on and off for many years, but on my most recent visit it was the food selections that caught my attention. The menu has been updated and the items range from fancy steaks, to chicken wings & pizza, to fried baloney! All of the items we ordered... More

Plans to meet my sister at a different restaurant didn't come to fruition because that place was too busy. We took a quick trip down to Wallenweins and were so glad we did. It was around 2PM on a windy, fall afternoon. The dining area was busy but they had some tables in the bar and in the back room.... More

We went to Wallenwein's Hotel on Friday night with friends. We couldn't get into another local restaurant, so we thought we would try Wallenwein's. We are so glad that we did. We walked right in and were told we could just sit ourselves down at an empty table. Two of us had the beer battered fish fry, which were very... More

Stopped in last Friday around 6pm... it was very busy but we were able to get a seat out on the patio. I had the fish fry and my wife had a chicken wrap. My fish fry was one of the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked with a light crispy batter. All the sides seemed to be homemade... More

Although it was very busy we were seated and served promptly. The fish fry on Friday was cooked perfectly. I ordered a half order and it was more than enough. Dinner for two with 1 cocktail around $25. Can't beat that.

Bar food, pub grub...whatever you call it the food here is very good. I had pizza and wings and they were some of the best I've had since moving to the area recently. I heard rave reviews of a place on Main St. that only takes cash and this place is much better food and service and they take a... More

We have been here many times before for wings which are excellent. This time had the fish fry! Amazing! If you are a true buffalo person you know a great fish fry ether makes or breaks a place. The fish fry was not greasy or filled with air like many. The fish was tender and flaky the batter was light... More

If you were born in East Aurora, you love it. If you're from out of town, you wonder what all the fuss is about. Menu is standard Western New York pub fare: wings, pizza, beef on weck and fish frys. It's of so-so quality, mediocre service in a historic building that clearly shows its age.
