My mother and I ate here on Saturday, neither one of us enjoyed our food. Turkey lunch meat sliced thick, served on Wonder Bread with canned gravy is not my idea of home cooking. Also half the meat in the sandwich was cold, although the mashed potatoes were real, I could tell by the lumps. My mother's Belgian waffle was burned... More

The wife and I are here tonight and both of our plateswere filled with delicious, fresh, homemade food! I got the Angus bacon cheeseburger with the salad bar...my burger was never frozen, cooked to perfection, and perfectly seasoned. My wife got the "small" German fish fry. The fish was a nice size and the batter was not greasy, not to... More

I have not been here in many years, so decided to give it a try. The restaurant is sort of a step up from a diner. Homey atmosphere. Very extensive menu. There were 17 women in our party for a girls Christmas get together. There was not one complaint from any of the gals. Orders were from fish frys to... More

Food is good and reasonably priced. Kind of a "down home" local atmosphere and usually good service. Can be crowded, though

We celebrated my fathers 85th birthday here and had a wonderful meal and service! Our server, Eurriel, handled everything just perfectly! We arrived a bit early, were seated and ordered in a timely manner. When our food arrived, all 16 meals were just as ordered and delicious! Portions were large, prices very good...Will definitely return...Thanks for a great evening!

If I can do two reviews of restaurant, here it goes. The food was excellent. Had the large fish fry, fish was moist and tender. I will definitely have this entree again. Now on the down side, service was poor. Our server only gave us one cup of coffee, served us our dinners, we asked for more coffee, never returned... More

Stopped for dinner and really enjoyed this place. The food here was good! The soup and salad bar came with our meals and I also noticed it came, not only with the dinners listed but the sandwiches as well. Our waitress did a very good job. I would definitely come here again!

a group from church really enjoyed its recent visit here and wished it weren't quite so far from home... generous portions and terrific soups... it has actually improved down through the years
