LOVE the homemade cinnamon bread! Makes an excellent french toast. Cannot go wrong with any of the excellent things on the menu. Chicken salad and soup are all homemade and you can tell! Waitresses are great and pleasent, have a nice porch for the summer months.

Stopped at Charlie's Diner on 5-23-14 for dinner. The restaurant is very clean and I was seated right away. The beer-battered fish fry was recommended to me, so I had it. The fish was actually pretty good; the macaroni salad and the cole slaw, were OK, but not outstanding. The french fries were overdone and didn't have much taste -... More

Oh goodness. My husband and I just returned from dinner at Charlie's - our first time. It was awful. We were greeted after about a minute by the waitress who cheerfully said we could sit anywhere. We found a table but we had my 16 month old son in tow which meant we needed a highchair. I did a quick... More

We stopped at Charlie's Diner for a first time experience. The diner is in an old house and is set up with a counter and simple tables. I had the Turkey Club on rye bread which was excellent. Others had hash, an omelette, and a tuna melt. All the food was very good and strike zone for a diner. Our... More

It's your typical diner atmosphere, fast, friendly, busy, locals and awesomely delicious diner food. My husband and I went there for breakfast and it was busy but good. The food was good and cooked to perfection! My only complaint is that they only have 1 bathroom. And they were either just understaffed or more busy than usual but the food... More

Average food served hot and fresh. Service efficient. Nothing special but not anything bad to say either. Outside seating in good weather and fun to people watch from covered porch.

They make their own breads, I tried the cinnamon bread-fantastic. Others in our party had typical breakfast items, and enjoyed them.

It was clean, good food, and a nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and it was very close to our hotel. A good one to repeat.

For a hardy, delicious breakfast of lunch any day of the week, Charlies Diner on Main street is an institution. A great array of breakfast and sandwich choices, fresh ingredients and inexpensive prices makes this place a popular spot with locals. Friendly efficient service are a plus, and be sure to get a seat on the front patio. Enjoy!
