Visited the Old Orchard Inn, in East Aurora NY last week with some out of town friends. The staff was very friendly, and sat us at a window seat, close to the pond. As usual, the food was great, from the Baked Lobster spread to the mussels. For the dinner entree, we chose the filet medallions, baked Tiapia and a... More

I know longer live where I can make frequent visits to this lovely, charming place. We started celebrating special famy events here, in the 1960s, and I never had a bad meal or poor service. Am so glad to know that the traditions continue, that people still choose the Old Orchard; it is truly a destination rather then a quick... More

The Old Orchard is an excellent place to have a quiet meal with friends. This is our go-to restaurant every Valentine's Day and every year we have a wonderful time. Drinks, appetizers entrees and desserts are always delicious and the service is wonderful. Enjoy the scenic drive and quaint, secluded location.

Went here for dinner based on a suggestion by the hotel staff where I was staying. The place is interesting and looks like it could be quite picturesque in the warmer weather. I didn't need to make any reservations and walked right in and was seated immediately. I ordered the 14 Oz. New York Strip Steak, which they claim is... More

Had a delightful "comfort food" meat at the Old Orchard. My chicken fricassee was delicious-full of tender white meat, pieces of biscuits and a light chicken gravy. My husband's strip steak was also delicious and cooked perfectly to his requested "medium rare". Dinner come with a salad or soup and a family style dish of potatoes and veggie. We tried... More

The Old Orchard Inn is this rustic hunting lodge that is tucked away in the woods of East Aurora. I was amazed with everything. You take a walk uphill to the door, and you can see the lights around the pond and gazebo as you walk in. They had a fire going outside!! It was so nice and warm with... More

We joined family for our Thanksgiving Buffet there and will never forget the cozy ambience of the fireplace, the wonderful waiter, cinnamon rolls and wassail for appetizers, the home-cooked favorites with no shortcuts allowed. As the snow was gently falling and the lamposts outside came on at dusk, we felt like we were stepping back in time to Dickens' "A... More

I went for dinner last night and I was very disappointed. My mother's disability was not accommodated, I was embarrassed in front of my wife, mother and father-in-law, and the food was ordinary. It was a long uphill climb for my mother as she struggled up the walk-way with her walker, but she made it. When we stepped into the... More

"Restaurant Week " specials prompted our trip here. Filet Mignon & a Lobster Tail & the other was Macadamia Encrusted Tilapia. Since these were specials the entree was 4 oz each on the Filet & Tail. However; the family style potatoes, squash & beets were plentiful. With a salad or soup & dessert the size was quite sufficient for me.... More

Visited the Old Orchard Inn for the first time last Saturday evening. A nice ride for us on country road though East Aurora. A pleasant surprise for us at a quaint restaurant built into a country home. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and would have been seated upon entering. Instead we opted for a drink at the bar....
