We've lived in Dryden for 20 years and have never gone to the Dryden Hotel because we assumed it was "just a bar" and it looked a little sketchy. We went tonight because we were too tired to drive to Ithaca and we've been missing out. We had a beer, an appetizer, a panini and a salad with salmon on... More

We were planning on meeting friends who just their daughter at SUNY Cortland while we dropped our daughter at Cornell. We discovered this place, but felt after a day of moving we might not look to be in our Sunday best. Well, we fit right in with the clientele. By this I mean that the atmosphere was very relaxed. My family and I went to the Dryden Hotel for dinner. One of us got burgers and fries and one of the kids got chicken fingers and fries. My husband got the prime rib, I got a pizza. The food was just okay, passable and not special. Overpriced for the quality and quantity. The amount of french fries with the... More

We liked it. Nothing fancy, but quick, hearty food with a reasonable beer selection on tap. It was easy walking distance to the B+B where we stayed and worked well for one meal during our visit.

Eat here if you are hungry and not fussy about service and food. The bar and the restaurant areas are noisy, mostly locals gathering at the end of the day.

They really have very good food, and very nice folks work there. If you're a sports fan, they always have the best games to watch on many TVs.

The Dryden Hotel is a lively and energetic restaurant right in the heart of Dryden. Dryden is a small town and not a lot to do, but head over to the Dryden Hotel and you will find where everyone gathers. It's a place you can go to have a nice dinner, meet your family, or some friends, have a drink,... More

A tradition since 1844, the Dryden Hotel has a lively sports bar in one section, and a family-style dining room in the other. We enjoyed the Saturday special, a great juicy hunk of prime rib. (Friday is fish fry night, which we hear good things about, and then there's Taco Tuesdays). Bar specials include the usual wings (both bony and... More

Stopped here with some friends who live a few miles away on our way back from vacation. Loved their wings and the quick service. Excellent selection of local beers and a giant, reasonably priced salad.

Our whole family went on a Thursday to enjoy the wings. We had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was friendly, food was great, and we all enjoyed it. It was very family friendly with a nice mix of people having wings, dinner, etc. We've recommended it many times and will continue to go back ourselves.
