I go to Tomatillo usually once a month with my friend. Every visit we each enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa, sangria, and the mister shrimp burrito. Great value, great food, friendly employees. Only negative is that the place is very small, but we love it nonetheless!

This is a good, casual spot for families and friends. The food is fresh and tasty. Lots of farm fresh veggies and organic fare. Nothing fancy- healthy tex mex. The burritos and tacos are particularly yummy!

The theme is tex mex with a local flavour, meats are local, veggies are local or organic, and lots of vegetarian stuff for those that prefer no meat. They are family friendly with a kids menu of smaller portion quesadillas, tacos and burritos. We have eaten here twice with our family of four kids, burritos range from 10 to 15... More

I recently had lunch here with a group of women. I ordered the chorizo and chicken burrito. And I have to admit I was disappointed. The chips and salsa were great --- salsa had nice flavor but the burrito was bland. Waiter was fine....but why the window would be open on a freezing cold day I have not idea.

Walk in hostess to meet very negative hostess.takes our order never asked of we want drinks. Margarita came in a plastic car $7.00 taste like all mixer. (Sent back) shared my soda. Appetizer guacamole had NO taste at all. Britto was ok but again very Blane. Nobody came back around ask how everything was. The owner needs to spend a... More

Quite rightly, Tomatillo's claim to fame is their use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Stone barns veggies and meat from 'local' farms are featured prominently on their menu and even more so in their specials. So if you are in the mood for a great earthy burrito with tasty beef and spinach or looking for a spectacular veggie soup this... More

This place is overrated. The service is inconsistent, but generally poor. The food is average at best. Unfortunately it is not very clean -- The menus are usually covered in sauce, the tables and chairs are often sticky. One time we had to sit on napkins as otherwise our pants stuck to the chairs.....(I'm not kidding). In terms of food... More

Since updating the menu, this place is much better than it used to be. I've been here several times and would recommend it. The food is fresh and portions are right-sized. My only complaint is that the chips aren't that great and they aren't very generous with how many they give you!

I took my niece out for dinner for her birthday, and she wanted Mexican. I had never been here before so decided to give it a try. Generally speaking, the food was fine. It wasn't great. We started with the house guac. I found myself looking for the salt shaker on the table that wasn't there. It was pretty bland.... More
