Really sad. This was an exceptional restaurant serving middle eastern specialties that were distinctive, tasty and well priced. Sadly they have closed and, for now, are not re-opening.

I currently went to visit my family and took a splendid trip with my sister. We were greeted by such a sweet waitress and was recommending good food to us. We ended up enjoying hummus with the homemade naan(bread) For our course lamb and chicken seasoned just right served with rice. To end our amazing food we had some tea... More

I visited this restaurant with my family, largely because I had seen their positive reviews here on TripAdvisor, and also because they had falafel. For appetizers, we ordered the falafel and the mast o khair, which took awhile to come out. The falafel, although very small, was delicious. The mast o khair was good too, although very spicy. For entrees,... More

Atmosphere. Food. Service. Price. Incredibly satisfied with it all for our first visit. Delightful experience well worth repeating.

We've been wanting to go and finally did last night. The menu is limited, but for each entree they serve a few versions. My wife had the Salmon Felafel and I had the Lamb. Excellent flavor, cooked just right. The appetizers were YUMMY!!!! Drink selection is not your ordinary, but that's another reason to go - try the food of... More

After reading all of the reviews on Tripadvisor, perhaps my hopes were set too high. The waitress brought items to us that were not ours, and seemed to be peeved when we told her. Although the appetizers were very good (Muhummara and Falafel), the entree's were not. The rice was cold and there was only one piece of cauliflower and... More

My wife and I have visited Manama twice in the last month and brought other couples with us on both occasions. We all thoroughly enjoyed the uniqueness of the food and the seasonings used to make it so. All of the appetizers are very good but our favorite appetizer is Ful Mudammus which is a warm roasted garlic and fava... More

The food was delicious...flavorful, fresh, wonderful! My husband and I love, love, love the Muhammara appetizer - so delicious, love the bread with it! Meat was moist and tender, veggies perfectly tender-crisp, fragrant rice a perfect accompaniment. The service was exceptional - we had a friendly, knowledgeable server who offered great suggestions/recommendations. The owner visited our table (and every other... More

Very warm and inviting interior. Friendly service and the owner personally visits each table during your meal. Super tasty and tender lamb kabobs with tender-crisp vegetables. Very fair pricing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience and will definitely be back.
