Out of the Way But Worth It

We ate here during our stay in Tarrytown, N.Y. On our way to the Lightscape Event we found this place is in a neighborhood off the beaten path. Outside you can't tell how big it is inside, We sat in the rear room, much quieter and away from the front door. You can also eat outside on the street... read more

I'm 75 yrs young and I have never ever written a review. This resaurant was so upsetting that I was going to respond to express my displeasure. Do they serve rolls with dinner entries? Why did I have to ask for them? Do they serve butter with the rolls? Why did I have to ask for butter? Do they fill... More

This is one of the few places I travel up into Westchester for. The martini list alone is worth the trip. Cheers to the creators of these recipes! I always bring people here with high expectations, and they never disappoint. I would give 6 stars if I could, and if only there were more vegetarian options. But if having those... More

My friend and I just wanted a little time to catch up over a delicious dinner. The wait staff, while attentive, rushed us throughout the meal. As it turned out, the meal was so dismal that being rushed through it was not as bad as it might have been. The burger was not cooked as requested, and the salmon was... More

This is a place that should extend its hours of operation because the food is always good. The menu is huge and choices galore! A little bit for everyone and I don't mean portion size I mean variety! Portions are take home please!!

Been here a few times. The food is always good but the amount of time it takes to actually get said food usually borders on ridiculous. It's not a huge place so I can't always grasp why the kitchen seems so backed up. If you have the time though the food is pretty good.

Had a truly delicious Sunday brunch. Super Bloody Marys with pepperoncini and a nice level of spice. Delicious Huevos Rancheros (and I'm picky about these) with lots of black refried beans, home-made chorizo (yes, really!) and lovely ripe avocado slices. My BF had the Philly cheese-steak, which he said was great although he devoured it all before I could catch... More

My wife, son and I had dinner here before heading over to the Great Jack o' Lantern Blaze at Van Cortland Manor and came away pretty impressed. The place looks small from the outside but is quite large inside with a long rectangular bar. We had to ask for bread as none was given but it turned out to be... More
