Been here many times and have always found the food to be excellent and the service very good. The noise level makes it hard to have a conversation

A bit of a pain to get a table, but well worth it. They don't take reservations, but you can get there when they open and put your name in, and they call your cell when a table opens up. Very small and charming place. The food quality can't be beat, one of the best restaurants in Westchester county.

Glorious choices of fresh sea food, main dishes tastefully prepared so one doesn't lose the delicate flavors of the fish. Wonderful selection of oysters. The only problem is tables within inches of one another so there is not privacy in conversing with a dinner partner. This also means a noise level that is not conducive to pleasurable dining. Too bad... More

We pulled up to this place which was supposed to be a great seafood restaurant, and it looked like a tiny NJ diner. Inside, some of the BEST food we've ever eaten. GO THERE.

It was my first time at Ocean House. I went with friends who love the place. I found the tiny space extremely noisy even though it was only half full (early Thursday night). The food was good but nothing extraordinary, and the entrees were small for a $29 price tag. I chose the sauteed skate, maybe 4 or 5 oz... More

Great place, lovely staff, great food. It's tiny and they don't take reservations BUT if you stop by early you can get on the list for the day and come back at your time slot. Bring your wine with you and they'll pour if for you. Never fails to please.

I have eaten here several times a few years ago, but due to the reservation policy, have had a hard time getting in until tonight. My husband and I went for an early dinner to avoid the crowds. There were only two other tables seated besides us. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. My husband had the grilled calamari... More

I wish I could be positive in reviewing this restaurant, but they really rubbed me the wrong way. Today I went there for dinner with my friend, we brought a bottle of wine, cork fee at $6.00. At the end of the meal I opened the second bottle (twist cork) just to try a sip of my Friend's wine -... More

Everything is fresh and delicious but the space is so tight it's not at all comfortable. You have a hard time not getting involved with the conversation of the person sitting next to you. Go early and it's better.

Not worth the price though the staff was nice. When you need to season your food yourself, there is something wrong. Also, the seafood tasted like it was rapidly defrosted. Calamari was rubbery and fish didn't taste very fresh. I hope this was an isolated experience, but it don't plan on going back.
