Switched to a tavern pizza joint. Wanted to give it a try. Amelia's was okay. Should have settled on okay because the Sideline Grill is just plain awful. Same staff including the mother. Plopped a pool table in the middle of the dining room so only seating for about 6 parties of four. Small menu. Saw people sending burgers back... More

Though this was a good place to go for Italian food. I think it has gone out of business. Please check on this.

I do hope they do better as a grill and tap room. The main dinners were horrible so I hope at least they can handle sandwiches. Best thing the owner could do is keep his mother out of the place. Many customers as well as staff have said that she is mean and rude to the people who dine there... More

I have been there 3 times and the food was horrible. The wait staff was not any better. I truly do not know how they stay open.

We went for dinner at Amelia's. The food was average. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy. Service was OK in general. Overall average experience.

We had a delicious dinner here last night with friends. The calamari appetizer was beautifully presented; it was fresh and tender with a nice light batter and an addictive tomato dipping sauce. The Delmonico steak special was delicious, cooked just as ordered, and included an abundance of fresh-cooked mushrooms. The rigatoni with chicken and mushrooms had a distinctive tomato cream... Drove 11 hours up Int. 81 to reach Cortland so that we could eat at Amelia's...last time was 2 years ago. Loved it then; this time food was good and very fresh. My husband had aglio/olio pasta, I had haddock. Salads not great; too much vinegar. Bread fresh; hint of rosemary. Service very friendly. Not busy, Wed. night 8:00 pm.... More

Disgusting and overpriced. There is always water in the pasta bowl. Over cooked or under cooked food constantly being served and then returned. The same dessert cakes being served for months until they finally sell out. The boss, who is also the cook, as he could hardly be considered a chef for the half assed job he does, absolutely refuses... More

Saturday night 12/15/.12 They recommended reservations so we did. Got there 20 minutes later and there 3 tables being used at 6:30 at nite. Hardly no one there. Made us wonder. Our meals were just ok. My spaghetti & mbs were fair far below Melodylands. My domestic partners chicken stuffed with spinach & cheese looked like it was made by... More

It is a very small and cozy place. When you first enter you end up at a bar and first thing you see is entrance to the bathrooms. Needless to stay the smell is somewhat bothersome. The food however is incredibly delicious: from lasagna, to NY strip steak with shrimp. Their appetizer special was scalops wraped in bacon and muscles-out... More
