We were in town for a women's soccer game at SUNY-Cortland and this place was recommended. At first it seems like a typical college hangout bar but a variety of age groups were in the place and the food was excellent! We all had something different to eat and everyone had great comments - schnitzel, shepards pie, steak, fish tacos,... More

I recently moved to Cortland and was searching for "my new bar" -- a place where I could go and be around people my age (the not-so-college-age crowd) that has a good beer selection, good food, occasional live music, and friendly people. Hairy Tony's is just that! Being brand new to the town, it was nice to walk in somewhere... More

Staying at Greek Peak in one of the condos through Travel Advantage and found this cozy little Gastropub through Tripadvisor. At first glance from the outside, you might be tempted to turn away, but you will be missing out. Upon arrival and departure we were greeted at the door. We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday night and the restaurant... More

We stopped at Hairy Tony's after watching a women's soccer game at nearby SUNY Cortland. The draft beer selection was extensive, and the 7-tier appetizer that included guacamole, sour cream, black beans, rice and lettuce was delicious. We ordered the skirt steak sandwich, which came with caramelized onions and beefsteak tomato slices. Excellent to taste and great value. Service was... More

We enjoyed our dinner here on a recent Friday night. We arrived very early, about 5:00 and it wasn't busy. We each ordered a flight of beers: Chelsea's Beer Flight #3 and Steph's Beer Flight #1. It's a great way to experience different beers. They also have wine flights. Our meals were absolutely delicious, and nicely presented: Mac and Cheese... More

Stayed at Hope Lake Lodge, found this hidden eatery on Main Street, had the famous sangria, the Muy Grande Nachos, which are huge and a meal in itself, 4 of is couldn't finish, and it was the best ever! Portions are big, but better year food tastes great. We can't wait to come back again, highly recommend for those looking... More

Recently had the pleasure of spending an enjoyable evening with friends here. We were able to eat on the patio and enjoy the summer weather. Laney our server was excellent. She was very knowledgable about the menu and was helpful to us as guest on what we may be looking to eat. The four of us ordered our own split... More

Nice place with good food. There are some more gourmet food combinations that you don't often find with pub food. I've had ssoe really excellent meals and a few that were so-so, but overall this is a nice place to go and relax with friends or family for a good meal and good drinks!

Great vibe and had a great time talking football with the staff. I really enjoyed the food, especially the wings...and a good beer selection. Highly recommended.

Good bar and pub. Great selection of beer. Great atmosphere. Good selection. Food is good. Tuna not fresh but good sauce and accompaniments. Skirt steak also good but not excellent. Waitresses friendly and drinks and food served quickly
