The food was delicious as always. I was very pleased that due to my health issues I needed to request something that was not on the menu and they were very accommodating. Their salad is delicious, order the spaetzle, and the chocolate fondue for dessert was wonderful.

It's not far from the Cromwell Manor Inn. It has dim lit rooms, wooden floors, and a friendly wait staff. The food was enjoyable and the ambience fun.

We love the Canterbury Brook Inn so much that we buy Gift Certificates for our friends. Tue-Thu are special discount full dinner nights from soup to dessert. The atmosphere is great - and summer on the deck by the brook can't be beat. Lots of food, and even their house salad is special. You won't be disappointed!

We had a most delicious dinner on Thanksgiving. The food, service and staff were outstanding considering it was a holiday. Every one from the owner's wife to the busboy were extremely attentive. There was a special Thanksgiving menu, but not a buffet. We started our dinner with escargot which were fantastic and not overly garlicy. My wife went for the... More

We go here frequently and always had an excellent meal. The service is good and the fact that your entree doesn't come while you are still eat your salad is a plus, we like to space out our courses. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommend it for any occasion, or no occasion at all just... More

We go with friends that rave about the German food, not that we are into it, but we always find better than average alternatives n the menu. I usually do the duck, while my wife does a fish. It is one of the few places that does an escargot, which I very much enjoy (not the best, but very acceptable)... More

This local favorite has earned it's reputation because the food and service is consistently excellent. The Price Fixe menu during the week is a very good deal. The fish is always cooked perfectly - which is saying a lot!

We were in the mood for German food and returned to the Canterbury Brook Inn Restaurant. We had the wiener schnitzel and the pan seared pork tenderloin. Both meals were very good. The pork tenderloin was cooked in a mushroom sauce that was very tasty. The wiener schnitzel was also very good-crispy crust but tender inside the cutlet. The spaetzle... More

This restaurant is solidly mediocre. The fried scallops were mostly crust and little scallop. the chicken dish had little taste. Waitstaff tried hard and mostly delivered. I was disappointed.

We went with friends because of their sauerbrauten which one in the crowed loves. I happen to enjoy their escargot, an apatiizer. The meals otherwise are just ok. The service was extreamely poor this time, largely forgotten by the waitress, as she was busy with a large group, which left us o seek out the hostess repeatedly to get service.... More
