Our first dining experience The Canterbury Brook Inn was a great one. The evening was perfect. Although Mother Nature helped by providing a perfect evening for sitting on the deck over looking a peacefully flowing brook, the Inn was the star of the evening with excellent fare and service. Our summary of the evening was in a word "delightful"

First time at The Canterbury Brook Inn. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. We never felt rushed and everyone from the bus boy to the waitress were very attentive. Will be returning again!

The food is hands down good. I had the short ribs and my wife had the pork medallions. The escargot was a little tasteless. Not sure why but the short ribs were very good. The service is another topic! Being semi local to the area, I know the local politicians, active and semi-retired, the local shop owners etc.... The service... More

We always dine at the Canterbury Inn on our frequent trips to West Point. The German-influenced cuisine is consistently excellent, the service first-rate, and the ambiance very pleasant, especially on warm summer evenings when one can sit outdoors along the brook. The mid-week prix fixe dinners are a real bargain. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious as always. I was very pleased that due to my health issues I needed to request something that was not on the menu and they were very accommodating. Their salad is delicious, order the spaetzle, and the chocolate fondue for dessert was wonderful.

It's not far from the Cromwell Manor Inn. It has dim lit rooms, wooden floors, and a friendly wait staff. The food was enjoyable and the ambience fun.

We love the Canterbury Brook Inn so much that we buy Gift Certificates for our friends. Tue-Thu are special discount full dinner nights from soup to dessert. The atmosphere is great - and summer on the deck by the brook can't be beat. Lots of food, and even their house salad is special. You won't be disappointed!

We had a most delicious dinner on Thanksgiving. The food, service and staff were outstanding considering it was a holiday. Every one from the owner's wife to the busboy were extremely attentive. There was a special Thanksgiving menu, but not a buffet. We started our dinner with escargot which were fantastic and not overly garlicy. My wife went for the... More

We go here frequently and always had an excellent meal. The service is good and the fact that your entree doesn't come while you are still eat your salad is a plus, we like to space out our courses. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommend it for any occasion, or no occasion at all just... More

We go with friends that rave about the German food, not that we are into it, but we always find better than average alternatives n the menu. I usually do the duck, while my wife does a fish. It is one of the few places that does an escargot, which I very much enjoy (not the best, but very acceptable)... More
