We visited this restaurant in mid-September based on a recommendation from our hotel reception. We were not disappointed. The menu was diverse and food was flavorful. The restaurant is on the main street in the historic part of Corning. There is some street parking or free parking lots depending on time of day. We ate after 7:30 and it appears... More

Sorge's is located in the very center of Corning. It features traditional Italian fare featuring homemade pasta. The food is very good and the prices are quite good. The service was professional. Judging by the number of locals that were eating dinner, Sorge's is a great place for vacationers as well.

Sorge's menu has a nice variety of decently priced Italian food. The informal atmosphere and efficient service make it a good choice for dining in downtown Corning.

Chose this restaurant based on Good Trip Advisor rating and very disappointed. Order stuffed chicken parm and chicken parm combo. Combo tasted like it was had been cooked earlier and reheated. Dry, mushy and burnt taste. Stuffed parm was not heated the whole way through and had been previously cooked.

We visited the night before a race, and the chef had anticipated lots of runners coming in, and had great carb-loaded options and specials. Our waitress was delightful, and very attentive without being annoying!

We've eaten here twice now, on Saturday, October 4, 2014, the day before the Wineglass Marathon, and this evening, October 16, 2014. Both times the food has been really delicious, and is very reasonably priced. We have eaten the stuffed shells, a seafood pasta, other pasta, and the Sorge's Burger. All really good! On the weekend of the Wineglass Marathon,... More

Ate here last night. The place was packed and is obviously very popular in Corning. They have an Italian buffet, never seen that before. We ordered from the menu. The home made bread was delicious. Seafood alfredo and 3 cheese ravioli, both very nice, not fantastic, but the service was great and speedy and there was lots of parking out... More

While the service was good the food and atmosphere were very average. They were nice enough to make any of the burgers for us with a veggie burger.

Many of the reviews on trip advisor rated this restaurant higher. I thought it was an average good. Service was great.

Visited Sorge's on Saturday night before the races Sunday morning. It is very busy in Corning due to this event and everyone should realize that. We put our name in(no reservations accepted) and was told it would be a 90 minute wait. We expected that. The hostess was PHENOMINAL at keeping the hoards of guests organized and happy. She offered... More
