What's the first step to real Texas BBQ? Most people would say Brisket or Mesquite fire, I guess it depends on where specifically you are in Texas. The last thing you will hear anyone from Texas say about their BBQ is to use an electric smoker! You can see that they don't even have a real fire burning! All they... More

I ordered the Effin Burger, which arrived medium as ordered, along with the side of chips and a pickle. The chips and pickle were nothing to write home about, but the burger was also generously sized and well cooked. Really enjoyed the spicy mayo and bacon on this one, I think there was also some jalapeno. Great food I had... More

Ate here mid week, place was pretty empty. Staff was not very friendly, almost like he was kitchen staff forced to wait tables. We had the beef brisket and a hamburger, were told fries are extra, salad is extra, soup is extra. Beef brisket was dry, not fresh. Hamburger was ok. Not a lot of food for the money. Would... More

We heard from friends that this place was good. We decided to try it and we will never go back. Lets start with the positives, the salad and cornbread were awesome (not why we went there). I ordered the pulled pork platter and my gf ordered the beef brisket platter. Mine came out cold and hers was luke warm. The... More

Went on a Saturday night for dinner with three other people. The atmosphere was nice and the music memorabilia was great! The menu is extensive and the prices are a great value. I had a pulled pork platter, which had a huge amount of pulled pork with two sides and cornbread... all for $9.99. I loved the sweet potato waffle... More

This was my first time here. We had ok service, she was new and they were busy so we forgave her. The food was delicious. The sides definitely outshine the main fried goodness but everything was tasty. Liked the rock n roll decorations and the laid back atmosphere. We will be back next time we're in Corning.

There was a huge group of us, and we got really good service. Everything was so good! There jalapeno corn bread was absolutely fabulous! This place is a must if visiting Corning.

The Brisket platter is really awesome, HOWEVER, It is not consistent...You can go there one week and it is perfect, go the following week and it is less than stellar! Sometimes you get a perfectly sliced brisket with all the trimmings and then the next time it is just a cold, thick slab of meat on a plate. The sides... More

There are 4 restaurants in Corning that serve BBQ. This is by far the best. The appetizers are delicious...try their signature ones. They have a great beer selection..many are from the area and it's great to see they promote other local endeavors. We like to sit in the bar section and we always have had impeccable service. The mounted guitars... More
