We visited The Cellar based on Trip Adviser reviews (#4 behind a BBQ joint, bakery & ice-cream places in Corning) and we WERE very happy with our meal there. The amuse bouche was a little indistinct but the lamb lollipops, tempura shrimp roll, seafood soup & main, gnocchi, and spare ribs were great. The service was a bit lackadaisical -... More

A popular spot for drinks and dinner. Opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors. While probably not the ideal choice for a quiet time out, if one wants an active place, The Cellar is a good choice.

I love the food here, and the service is fabulous and the wine list...superb. But... You will walk away hungry unless you order two entrees. They are overpriced and the portions are minuscule. We are only going for wine from now on and maybe an appetizer...

My wife and I went to The Cellar for Valentines Day 2015. Having been to Corning several times and being a bit familiar with Market Street where it is located, we used TripAdvisor as a guide to narrow down and select somewhere above average for dinner. Most reviews raved about the quality of the food. We were greeted promptly by... More

My wife and I visited over the weekend to beat the Vday crowds, glad we chose The Cellar in Corning. The food was fantastic and with a wide variety of tapas to choose from, there is certainly a selection for everyone. We ordered two selections from the Tapas menu and each ordered an entree as well. Everything was prepared perfectly,lots... More

Delicious tapas and good wine. A lot of fun to stop by after visiting the glass museum. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food.

The food is exquisite and the drinks are just special. Great wine selection but their cosmos are to die for!

We visited this restaurant last night. I wanted to take my granddaughter someplace special for her 13th birthday. I took her to The Cellar because of the chance to try the many different foods in one sitting. The nachos are wonderful , the lamb was incredible. My granddaughter had never had it before so I just ordered one. The Cellar... More

we were excited try this restaurant with friends from the area. We dined on New Years Eve... The lighting was low and romantic, the servers were attentive but not pushy, the crowd was slow and steady. We decided that we wanted to try a bunch of tapas for our dinner. We had: the coconut curry popcorn which was amazing, the... More
