The Cellar is unpretentious, but has surprising sophistication: wine list in tablet form, complete with tasting notes and ratings; many small dishes; half size main course options; and an emphasis on Asian fusion cooking. We found the prices reasonable, the service excellent and friendly and the food outstanding.

We found this restaurant through Trip advisor & we agree that it's a great place. They have an extensive wine list & numerous foods to choose from. The lollipop lamb chops were amazing. We tried lots of small plates & were really happy we dined there.

I visited the restaurant with a friend while staying a night in Corning. Food was amazing! We ordered a lot of tapas and no entrees. Each dish had some kind of twist to it, even the pad thai, which is a simple dish that you wouldn't expect to be something special was great! Cocktails were great, service was great. Overall... More

The wait staff was very pleasant and the food was excellent. Slightly pricey, but not too expensive.

I keep coming back to this restaurant when I am in Corning NY for business. This place is perfect both for relaxing dinner on my own, romantic dinner for 2 or dinner/drinks with a big group. They have a great selection of wines and an amazing European-inspired menu. Their cheese board is one of the best I tried. The waiters... More

The bartenders were knowledgeable and made great drinks. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and some of the small plates as well as dinner. The pulled pork was good, and the beet ravioli was fantastic! We also enjoyed the smoked salmon appetizer. Overall, a very nice outing with friends.

Stopped here for dinner on a Friday evening as a pit stop on a long drive. We were seated promptly and the place already had a nice buzz, though it was just after 7pm. Ordering the wine via tablet was a nice user-friendly touch, allowing for a nice browsing experience, whether one knew what one wanted or was somewhat undecided.... More
