Solid

The dishes are mostly meat & fish, but have interesting sides. The portions are generous. There's a bar.

My friend recommended The Three Birds on Market Street for a drink after dinner on a Saturday night. We had been out hiking and adventuring all day, so when we finally cleaned up and went out for the evening, we were so excited for walking up and down Market Street. When we walked into The Three Birds, we were not... More

This is supposed to be one of the nicer restaurants in Corning, but the chef is beyond clueless. I ordered the special - a filet mignon with horseradish on the top. I ordered it rare, as in cold center rare, traditional rare. What I got was beyond medium, hot center and bone dry - not a drop of juice, blood... More

We at Three Birds pride ourselves on our consistent cuisine. We serve only the highest quality products in a relaxing professional environment. Your evening was none of the above and we apologize. Even after replacing your meal we still didn't hit our mark. This is not indicative of our usual service or cuisine. We set the bar high and aim... More

If you like a place that has great service and food, this is your place. We had a party of six and our hostess was very attentive to our needs. I had the strap steak and it was very flavorful (but tough) - I probably wouldn't order it again. The lower rooms are more secluded, but it can be loud... More

What a lovely setting for a delicious meal! I started with the Espresso Martini. Mwahhh! Next I enjoyed the Spring Salad with watercress, almonds, blue cheese, pineapple, and a citrus vinaigrette. My entrée did not disappoint: roast pork, whipped potatoes, and haricot vert. I finished with rhubarb/ apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised... More

The food and staff are consistently excellent. Great place to go for business too. Not as opulent looking as some other restaurants in town, but perfectly nice interior and superb where it counts. LOVE their sushi Wednesday nights.

We started with the crab cake appetizer (large enough to be a lunch entree) and the jambon (spanish ham) and cheese and puff pastry roulade. This was amazing, looked like little sushi rolls, and very rich. I wish I had taken a photo. Dinner was a seared ahi tuna steak (huge) and the grilled lamb top round. Wine list is... More

We had the pork tenderloin and chicken Kiev both were excellent. For dessert had the strawberry rhubarb crisp, also excellent. Excellent for foodies.

Well-appointed space, wide selection on menu, good wine list. Service was just right -- attentive but not pushy. Sea bass and Arctic char were perfectly cooked, accompanied by crisp green beans, one with mashed potatoes and the other with unusual quinoa. Portions generous but not too much. Beautifully presented. Recommend highly!
