Almost always exceptional

My go to formal dining (not attire) option in Corning. Low country fish stew for starters and chocolate torte to finish. Thursday is wagyu burger night at the bar only which is awesome

3 of us had dinner there in January and the food and wait staff were superb. Suzi, our waitperson, was efficient, knowledgeable about the food prep, and offered to have the kitchen reconstruct a scallop dish. Our food also included a veal chop and the vegetarian Stroganoff and all was delicious. A gem.

We visited with friends and arrived the night they were presenting a new menu. The service was friendly and they certainly know how to pace a meal to allow you to enjoy visting with your friends. Every person in our group selected the prosciutto wrapped veal with angel hair pasta. We found out that was one of the new items... More

Recently was in Corning for sparkle festivities. Before enjoying the evening walking market street we visited this establishment. Three birds has a very nice atmosphere for a couples night out. Moderately Fancy but not over the top prices. Diverse menu with area specialties and comfort food.

We were there this past Saturday night for my Birthday Dinner-I had the scallops in a shrimp bisque with sizzled spinach and a potato pancake (not your typical pancake-think outside the box on this one)-it was perfection...The homemade seeded rye bread was amazing with a dipping sauce of garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes which gave it an unexpected zest.... Excellent service, food quality, a decent wine list and a low light level to keep our attention off of the marginal decor.

After reading reviews decided to stop here for dinner. Glad we did... Had a really great meal. For apps we started with the pumpkin ravioli and a dozen PEI oysters; both were flavorful. My wife ordered a steak which was tender and grilled rare to perfection. I ordered a tuna special which was served in a delicious sauce over a... More

Service was great, meal was terrific. Pricey for the area, but worth it! The décor is attractive, not overdone, and comfortable. You can get less expensive eats at the bar, great if you've limited time and money.
