Walked into this place cold, didn't check any reviews the place we wanted to go to was closed on Monday. We sat down in the non-bar area and were impressed with the pictures on the wall of local girls playing softball. The restaurant really seemed to want to promote the local girls softball team. Being an avid softball fan I... More

Do NOT go here!!! Management is horrible! Some wait staff are nice and friendly. The menu is misleading. Brendan burgers are specially seasoned by Brendan. They arent seasoned at all. Kitchen is a health hazard waiting to happen. Raw meat left exposed. 3 day old chicken served. Brisket? That is not brisket that is served.

We thought the food was just ok, was pricey, and the portion sizes were small. The kids meals came with drink and a small bowl of ice cream, but they were still $7 for a small burger or two chx fingers. Our bill came to about $70 for a family of 5, but it sure didn't feel like a $70... More

2.5 stars really. Stopped in here to dine as the place looked lively and inviting with lots of patrons on a Saturday on an otherwise quiet street at night in Corning. Nicely decorated dining area and bar. Hostess was very friendly and seated us right away. Our waitress was pleasant and prompt. Good sized menu offering soups, salads, appetizers, burgers... More

This is one of the better local bars in the area. The bar area and restaurant area is split apart nicely with good food at pretty reasonable prices. The smoked BBQ chicken they do on the sidewalk sometimes is excellent. Service was a little slow, but I have never went there in a hurry. A unique quirk is that they... More

The aroma of smoked meat was enough to draw us in for a nice lunch. Three of us enjoyed our meals that were presented quickly and prepared in a true barbecue style. Pulled pork for me and nice done. My wife enjoyed the brisket and brother in law had the carolina burger which he enjoyed as well. The staff was... More

Food was fair, the service lacked personality. We had heard great things about Holmes plate so we decided to try it w the kids. I can't honestly say that we were dissatisfied with anything other than the bill. Everyone ordered burgers and fries and it was quite pricey. The atmosphere was just ok. I expected more of a baseball theme... More

As a chef I would expect slimy lettuce to be in the garbage NOT in my wrap! I wait tables on Market Street and had referred people here when were no longer serving, NOT ANY MORE. And the flies! I won't be back nor will I be telling anyone else to go here!

This is a great local restaurant. I suggest the "Carolina Burger", a hamburg with pulled pork and coleslaw on top!! Sweet potato fries are good also.

This was my third or fourth experience eating at this restaurant. On at least two previous occasions the service was slow and there was glass and plastic in my food. When I complained I was given new food, not a discount. But, it had been a year, so I thought I would give it another shot for lunch. The menu... More
