This was a family event before my Godson's wedding. I understand that this is where the local foodies go and I certainly agree with their choice!! There were four of us at our table and we started by sharing fabulous steamed little neck clams - done to perfection. I am usually disappointed as most times they are "way over cooked"... More

If you want to avoid the typical summer fare of burgers, hot dogs and pizza, go to the Yum Yum Shack. We found good food that is comparable to restaurants in well-known suburbs - definitely unpretentious as it should be - but great food for parents who want to eat well. Kid friendly too but really, parents, enjoy yourself.

Friends had suggested we stop in so we did . We weren't that hungry and the portions on other tables were very big and attractive. We satisfied ourselves and split several appetizers stuffed mushroom caps, ahi tuna and calamari . All were good.

May have just chosen the wrong dish. Shrimp and scallop fettuccine was bland. Not a good selection of wines by the glass either. Others enjoyed their meals, including the lobster lasagna. Pretty good lemon drop martini.

Vicki, our hostess at the Phoenix Inn bed and breakfast, recommended this place. No reservation but we got seats immediately and the service stayed prompt and friendly. Meals were generous and tasty, an interesting blend of Asian and other cuisines. The menu was very diverse and creative, and we each enjoyed our meals.

The waitress was not friendly, she didn't even want to seat us. When we did sit down, every time the waitress walk by us she just looked like she was mad, when one asked her a question she would not even respond. My little granddaughter smiled at her & said hi waitress just gave her a dirty look. By this... More

Hands down the best in Cooperstown area! Was like being in Manhattan eating find cuisine - yet, a few miles from Cooperstown Dreams Park. Great people, great food, comfortable upscale atmosphere. Wish we would have discovered it earlier in our stay in Cooperstown. Owner operated - Chef is Dave - Front end is wife Donnabeth. It is the best.

This place was recommended to me by some friends from New Paltz. I moved to Cooperstown and had eaten at many of the places in this area by the time I made it to the Yum Yum Shack; lets just say this will be a majority vote by me and my fiancée, especially when asked by friends or even strangers... I had the same thing twice, too. The Haddock Rueben was AWESOME!!! I also split the fish tacos with my husband and there were wonderful, too! I wish we lived closer to this place. This place is a must do if you are in the area. I'm surprised it doesn't have a better ranking. It's the best place we ate... More

I had the Pasta Carbonara and it was excellent as was the glass of Cote de Rhone I had to go with it. After a disappointing meal at another place in Cooperstown, we came back here for our final night in town. The Fish and Chips was superb, as was the shrimp dish my girlfriend ordered. Great service, nice people,... More
