Good sandwiches and service

Stopped in for a late lunch and were greeted by very friendly staff. We came here two days in a row and it was consistent both times: friendly service, quick food prep, and good food at that. I had the steak sandwich special, the "Oh yeah" it has cheese, roast beef, onions, peppers, and garlic... read more

The food is very good, howerver they do not have a bathroom and they do not have a place where you can wash your hands.

Just a few blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame. A great place to grab a quick bite to eat and enjoy the deli's charm still retained from long ago. If you're gluten-free, they've got a great selection of Boar's Head lunch meat and Udi's gluten-free bread. The pastrami sandwich on marbled rye is tasty, and the egg salad, bacon... More

City appeal in a local small town deli is Danny's Market. Quirky items and terrific sandwiches combine for a truly unique dining experience. Sometimes the selections are not grand in quantity, but that usually means whatever was the special was really popular! Not afraid to season, their soups and salads are always rich in flavor and texture. Top it off... More

Cooperstown is expensive, even in the off season, but you try to patronize local merchants. Hard to do when it is expensive and not good. I bought a ham & cheese on ciabatta. The bread was stale, the sandwich as $7.45, no chips or pickle included. I would have expected it in the $5 range. May as well go to... More

Five of us stopped for lunch before hitting the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (which is fabulous but that's another story). The soups and sandwiches were excellent, the chips selection fantastic, the coffee was good but no decaf available (self-service) and the chai latte ordered was made from powder so not the greatest. Service was mixed. There were NO... More

Good sandwiches, hot coffee, courteous, fast service, fair prices. Walking distance from the hall of fame.

The last few times I have eaten here, the sandwiches have been delicious--the ingredients were all very good and the bread was fresh. The prices are very high for what you get, though. It would be one thing if the price included a drink and chips, but for a small to medium size sandwich alone, I think $9-$10 is a... More

Ordered 2 subs and soups here. They had a nice selection of vegan and vegetarian options for my father-in-law and a variety of cold subs for my husband. The vegetarian chili was delicious and the sub bread was perfect! They also do call aheads for take out which is nice. A bit pricey but worth a try!
