Do not be fooled by those "excellent" reviews, those were from the previous owner. The new owner and the new name "Batters up" are gross, and to keep it under the name TJ's on trip advisor is the only thing keeping them from being completely empty. The place is gross and how they have not been shut down by the... More

Had a very nice and good waitress but the food was very disappointing. My Rueben was not good at all. Husband got egg salad sandwich and chili which he said was just so so. There were 6 of us and we were all disappointed

DO NOT GO HERE! This place used to be TJ's but is now called Batter's Up. We were hopeful that it would be better with the change- but it certainly is not. When we got there the place almost seemed closed.. it was a bit dark and there was nobody to be found inside (should have been our first clue).... More

It was something I knew was a risk, but with years of good times at TJs I decided to try "Batter Up", the new owners of TJs. But, service was horrendous and the food was blahhhh. It was 30 minutes later when I blew my lunch on the side or the road. Enough said...

TJ's closed in December of 2012 and is not affiliated with Batters Up in Cooperstown! The Stables has nothing to do with neither Batters Up nor TJ's Restaurant.

Had lunch here and spent 100$! Yes that's 100$. Had a Ruben that was so tough I couldn't even bite it. They made me second one after my family finished and that one wasn't much better. She blamed it in the cut of meat. I blame it on the cool for even letting that leave the kitchen! Rest of the... More

The Batters up is quite possible the worst restaurant in NY never mind Cooperstown. With the captive audience of Cooperstown this overpriced , dirty restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. They have the nerve to charge 3.00 for a soft drink then place a sign on the fountain machine, "no free refills" and they know it will be filled with... More

I think this is the new name. This was by far the worst food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. My salad was days past servable. My husband got a burger and onion rings and spent the night throwing up in the bathroom. Not a nice start to a vacation. Steer clear!

We were in New York for 10 days, and this is the worst restuarant experience we had. The waitstaff was terrible. We waited over 15 minutes before any waitstaff came to our table. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive ... after I asked a different waitstaff to check on our order. I had to ask... More
