Dinners are not only delicious but plated beautifully! Perfect wild salmon and we indulged in dessert, a hot berry compote topped with ice cream. Efficient and cheerful Patrick is a great server- we were well pleased! What a nice evening out!

After all week in Dreams Park, this restaurant offered relaxing ambiance with delicious food. We ate the Thai entrees and Osso Bucco; they were delicious. We were told about this restaurant by locals and were glad we went. Service was very good. Call and make reservations, you won't be sorry. We may even go back once more before we leave!

We made reservations and we were seated promptly. The waiter "Julian" was very pleasant and attentive. The Spring rolls came out quickly and were crispy and flavorful. The clam chowder was creamy and plentiful. The main courses ranged from Thai to crab cakes and steaks. All very good and to temperature. The atmosphere was great. Summer is the best time... More

Awesome lakeside locale, hidden next to a boatyard. Follow the drive down and around and then try to walk through the gift shop without buying. Arrived without reservations after the Baseball Hall of Fame inductions. Hostess took a few minutes and got us a table on the deck facing the lake. Service was excellent. Food are very good and prices... More

The service was friendly, if a bit clumsy. The seating a bit uncomfortable on the gravel with mismatched tables and plastic chairs. The food was edible, but not much more than that. 1/3 of my mussels were not opened. As we were warned, you come here for the view, not the food.

Service was attentive. Location was lovely. I can only describe my tuna fish entree as over prepared. A dining companion thought the same of his trout dish. A simpler preparation would have been better. Server went out of his way to be helpful.

It took awhile to find the restaurant in the boatyard. It could use a little sprucing up as the mold and mildew were in the porch and canvas covering. Our waiter was excellent and very helpful. I thought the tuna appetizer was pretty pricey for the amount you received. The appetizer was $14 which I thought was way too much.... More

I was quite surprised at the quality of this lakeside ( I do mean very lakeside) restaurant where I didn't expect to find gourmet fare. I started with Lobster in a fill dough wrap on a bed of lettuce. Then came the large portion of rack of lamb set under grilled asparagus. The selection of desserts was the perfect ending... More

The food at The Blue Mingo was great and the view is fabulous!! In addition, we were both really impressed with the waitresses, who not only knew the food on the menu, but double-checked ingredients for me and shared the history of the lake!
