Good, true New York-style pizza with thin crust and lot of tasty toppings. The calzone and stromboli were also excellent. Just don't ask for anything out of the ordinary during a busy lunch hour, or you might get a stern response. more

We stopped in to order 3 pies to go. Waited in a very long line out the door. It's the only pizza joint around. After taking my order, I waited an additional 10 minutes before someone came out and started to make the pies. 3 pizza pies: 1 cheese, 2 pepperoni = $51 total time: 45 minutes Pizza was dry... more

WoW what a place. If your looking for great pizza and a truely some New York atmosphere....stop by Sal's. If your lucky there'll be a Yankee game on too and you'll get a true NY Yankees experience. The brothers work their butts off and deliver a melting piece of pie that I would gladly drive across the country again for.... more

Great Pizza, Great Variety and Super Clean. The staff was so friendly! This place should be ranked number 1 in Cooperstown. We went with a group of friends and my buddy from Toronto can not say enough good things about this Pizza establishment. more

In August of 2007 my boys and I went to Cooperstown with every thought of having a great time and great food. We were starving the evening we went here, the workers and the place were filthy. It was the equivalent to walking into a bar room of rock and roll rejects. They made you feel from the moment you... more

Ok for a quick take out. The floor is always grimy/sticky. Ew. Best to go for a slice and get out while you can. more

We went there for a quick, inexpensive meal and you get what you pay for - minus some. The place was so dirty, the smell was what first hit you. The basement door was open and the stench was terrible. The entire place was so dirty, made us question what we were eating. The food was out on the open,... more

In town for the Baseball Hall of Fame, we popped in here for a quick lunch. The place is just dirty. The pizza looked good, but after we put some parm cheese on it, we noticed the cheese tasted rotten. Sure enough, the cheese shaker was filled with mold. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, the... more

Have always liked Sals and it is very easy to get your order in even when its busy. The slices tend to be better than ordering a whole pie for take away. A classic Cooperstown spot. more
