Hearty & Homey

You can not go to Cooperstown without hitting this spot! Charming as all heck. We ate here three times while we visited :) For diner breaky's and lunches - you simply can not go wrong here! Loved it!

It's small and you most likely will have to wait for breakfast; but it's my favorite "Eats" in C'town. Really. Friendly staff; coffee flows easily, as does the conversation. Wanna know a 'deal' or 'special place' to fill in time b'tween visits to Hall and memorabilia shops? Ask the staff. Out in kitchen area..it's busy, busy..just like old time diners... More

Had heard about this little (tiny) diner in the middle of Cooperstown and went there for lunch after visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame on a snowy, cold February day. The place was busy and most spaces were occupied (not hard to do!) but my wife and I got a table by the door. I had read on TripAdvisor that... More

Very small place, but they have good food at affordable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Waitress offered to assist my son who couldn't decide what to order. She was very helpful and pleasant. My youngest had the honey dipped fried chicken and potato salad(homemade)it was delicious. I will definetly go back when in the area.

Sometimes you have to wait for the best breakfast. It's a very small place but it's worth the wait. The staff does a good job. Sitting at the bar and mingling with some locals or other visitors is nice.

Enjoyed this little diner for all of it's small town charm. I probably never would have stopped here except that it was November and I had no choice. I'm glad I did. The food was good and the service was friendly. I suggest you check it out.

The Cooperstown Diner might be considered a "hole in the wall," and it is a very small restaurant situated at the opposite end of Main Street from the Hall of Fame. But one can find a diverse menu of sandwiches, soups, salads -- and breakfast (which is served all day). The Diner has a counter with 8-10 swivel stools, plus... More

Take a break from the Hall of Fame at 25 Main Street and walk down to Cooperstown Diner at the other end of Main Street. Open from early morning to after dark every day. Only about six tables and a few counter stools. Hamburgers are big and good (don't expect anything but medium-well or well, even if you ask for... More

We've eaten here several times, and enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Classic diner menu with fast service. The line of waiting customers can be out the door during high season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, but it's worth the wait.
