Had a great week with my son in Cooperstown for his 12u baseball team except for a meal at both back alley grill and Cooperstown diner. The reason I mention both restaurants is that in both instances each restaurant tried to "sneak" fees on my bill! Turns out both are owned by the same woman who is rude and has... More

The tiny, throwback Cooperstown Diner seemed to fit right in with Cooperstown - a typical, yet atypical - small town. Not many small towns feature a national gem like the Baseball Hall of Fame or have 90% of the downtown retail stores baseball-related. However, the diner fits in perfectly on the two-lane, tree-lined main thoroughfare. My brother and I tried it... More

Went for breakfast last Saturday & Sunday.Great food, great service, great atmosphere & very reasonable prices. Tiniest diner I ever saw. Half a dozen or so tables & @10 counter seats. If you have to wait it would be well worth it. I only regret I didn't have a chance to chow down on their $5.49 13 ounce burger. That's... More

Simply, great food, reasonable prices and great service. We couldn't have asked for more. No dislikes at all.

The food, service and the local feel of the Cooperstown Diner was amazing! The jumbo burger was super and the pancakes and sausage breakfast was delicious! If there is not a seat available, it is certainly worth the wait!

Ate here on a recent overnight stay in the area. Had heard about it so I took my teen there for lunch. The place is tiny, we were lucky enough to get seats at the counter. The service was great and so was the food. My teen had the sausage biscuits n gravy platter which was huge and I had... More

During our Easter weekend trip to Cooperstown, my wife and I ate breakfast at the Cooperstown Diner since it was recommended by a friend. The place is tiny, only seats around 24 individuals. The breakfast menu has typical diner food on it. Breakfast on the first morning for both my wife and me was really good. The service was even... More

Having eaten here about 50 times, I can say I like this cute place. Just don't expect haute cuisine.

The Cooperstown Diner is a small place from the outside, but surprisingly roomy inside. Friendly staff, a varied menu- and really excellent coffee. A perfect place for breakfast, brunch, or a later meal when looking for a quick lift after visiting the Hall of Fame, the shops, and the lakeside. Liked it very much!
