it was a nice place. The food was good and the service was good. They have a buffet. But not a big variety of food to choose from for the price.

The Pepper Mill is one of the restaurants listed in AAA for Cooperstown and it is south of town closer to our hotel than some others. We were surprised to find the place closed with a for sale sign on it, esp. since it had been reviewed just 1 month ago on Trip Advisor.

We stopped at the Pepper Mill Restaurant for dinner...There weren't many places to eat on Rt. 28 near the Cooperstown Dreams Field...So we took a chance with the Pepper Mill...We were very surprised...A friendly gentleman greeted us in the dining room....took or drink order and promptly served us...Even though the help was bustling in the Buffet room....We ordered, there were... Our family stopped in after a long day at the Dreams Park. Though we were greeted immediately at the door by the person who turned out to be our server, she did not visit the table to take our drink order for almost 15 minutes. We didn't get our first (and only) refill until we were ready for the bill.... More

I ordered the buffet and was not impressed. Stick to the menu - Filet looked good and so did the chicken marsala

Me and my family visited cooperstown this past week because of the dreams park and we decided to stop at the Peppermill for dinner one night. Me and my three kids got the buffet and my wife got the filet. The buffet was absolutely delicious. The prime rib was juicy and tender, while the sides were also very delicious. You... More

We decided to see if this place had improved at all since we had heard it was under new management. It definitely has not improved! After gnawing through a very tough serving of was I was told was prime rib, we were presented with a check that included a MANDATORY GRATUITY of 18% for a buffet server.

We walked into the peppermill restaurant and was very impressed with the service we were given after such large groups walked in. Our server was very kind and checked on us frequently and he knew a lot about the town and gave us some insight into how the town works and what there is to see and do throughout the... More

The people were pleasant and the food was fine - mostly. The stroganoff was very good. The prime rib was ok. The popcorn shrimp was mushy. The salad bar was decent, but the cold salads weren't good. We could've done without the large screen televisions on around the room - it's not a sports bar, it's a restaurant - but... More
