Good family oriented menu with good vegetarian choices. Plenty of big-screen TVs to watch. Well located near the Hall.

Café was a typical cafe in the back room of a bar, with small tables and wooden floors. The food was excellent and the waitress was very pleasant. A bit on the expensive side, but it's on Main Street and you wouldn't expect differently.

Good food, friendly service and small town atmosphere. It didn't feel "touristy" and most of the patrons lived in the area. Quite charming. Walking distance to the HOF.

Burger was nicely cooked and the beer was cold, though my wife's reuben was a bit overcooked and dry. We went with our two kids, and while the prices on the regular lunch menu seemed about average for what it was, the kids menu was a bit high-priced for a casual, pub-style place such as this. Kids entrees ran from... More

As a local, this is my choice for local burgers! They have a great selection of other stuff and have interesting daily specials usually. I've tried everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed. However, I usually settle for a burger and a couple pints of draft beer. It's the only place in town with anything remotely Mexican on the... More

We live in a neighboring village and often go to the Doubleday for breakfast or lunch. The food is always good and the specials change daily. We have not had a bad visit yet! The wait-staff is very friendly. We will continue to stop in when we are in Cooperstown.

Double Day Café is a stones throw from the Hall of Fame, so a good option for breakfast before or lunch after a visit. The breakfast on this occasion was solid across the board, but nothing was memorable. That's perfectly fine for breakfast. However, one demerit comes from the lack of menu flexibility. French fries were not available because it... More

Nothing special but the title says it all. Service was also good. Right on main street--as is everything else in C'town.

We went for breakfast because the free continental breakfast offered at our motel was awful. At 8 am, there are only two places in town that are open for breakfast. The other, the Cooperstown Diner, was very small and already crowded. The Doubleday Cafe was a better choice because it was larger, more comfortable, had a friendly neighborhood atmosphere and... On a busy afternoon, we were seated quickly. Service was very good, not rushed. Food was excellent, with a wide variety of choices.
