This came highly recommended by a shop owner, and the place was full of locals, so knew we were in for a good meal and we were not disappointed. It is just a block away from the Hall of Fame, there are numerous daily specials, and there is something for everybody on this menu. We enjoyed it so much Friday... more

We arrived into Cooperstown late for a morning visit to the Hall of Fame. We stopped in the Doubleday cafe for a late meal and were not disappointed. Try the Old Slugger Ale, now that was some ale. more

WE had a great breakfast here. The service was rustic but friendly (the servers' T shirts said 'a drinking town with a baseball problem'. The coffee was perfect Americano. We had eggs Florentine and huevos rancheros, both spectacular. The eggs Florentine was served over raw baby spinach. Wonderful. more

This place is casual with good food and a charming atmosphere. We'll make sure to go back here when we visit Cooperstown next year. more

We just returned from a week in Cooperstown. Overall, we were pretty unimpressed with the food. However, this place seems like a real, local spot with good food and good prices. It's kind of an eclectic menu with everything from burgers to Mexican to fish. However, the prices were reasonable. We had a wrap, a salad and a kid's meal.... more

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Didn't know anything about the place before hand, just happened to catch our eye and the menu looked appealing. The atmosphere is very much sports bar like with TV's and a causal atmosphere. The menu has some interesting options but the hummus and cucumber sandwich... more

Stopped by for a quick lunch while visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame. This is conveniently located two blocks away. Food was good, moderately priced. Service was excellent for a cafe. Members of my party had the grilled chicken sandwich, fried haddock sandwich and hummus wrap. All were good and fairly priced. more

The food was great, but what I remember the most was a homemade lemonade tea they... more

We enjoyed our lunch at the Doubleday Cafe. The sandwiches were well crafted and the curly fries were delicious. The beer selection was delightful, including the local Ommegang brews. Lots of baseball fans, big screen TVs, and very pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced and efficient. more
