The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70, we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors. Our goals are to serve the freshest food, along with the best service, at the most reasonable prices. Four of us had lunch here. Sat at the counter, great staff and quick service. Would definitely eat there again.

My husband and I stopped at Doubleday Cafe for lunch after visiting the Hall of Fame. Great, cheap, all-American burgers and such right on Main Street. Service was very friendly and quick. We would dine at Doubleday Cafe again on our next visit to Cooperstown.

Simple easy food and great service. We had lunch and dinner here and they never disappointed. Especially great fries. They also have a great selection of beer as well as teas so there is something for everyone.

Turkey BLT was good, turkey burger was ok. Menu has limited selection, especially the kids menu. I would expect a better kids menu in this area due to the number of kids that are here for baseball events. Service was good and the staff was friendly.

First place we ate when we arrived in Cooperstown, Got 3 burgers and a kid's chicken fingers. I think the food was good, but we were starving (lol). All in all, great burgers. Cream of mushroom soup was delicious.

Great menu choice and atmosphere. So good for lunch we came back later for snacks and beers.......... and the following morning for breakfast (partly as nowhere else was open yet). Bought the t-shirt too!

Highly recommend the chicken sandwich or bacon cheeseburger, great location right near the hall. Waitstaff was friendly and didn't mind our large group

We met two friends with their service dog for lunch at the Doubleday Cafe. A busy place in the summer, we only had a short wait for a table for four. The homemade cream of mushroom soup was excellent. Two of us really enjoyed the lobster salad, my friend had the spinach salad, and we all enjoyed our meal very... More
