very good lobster salad

This is diner-style dining with a menu that should please most customers. I had a bowl of tasty clam chowder and a freally good lobster salad. My wife liked her spinach salad. The peach crumble that we shared was a bit disappointing, the crumble part being rather doughy. The coffee is good. The... read more

We stopped in for a quick bite. The food and service was good. Burgers are ok . Hot dog was good. The chicken tenders were very good. The sirloin steak was also very good. It was a neat stop.

The Doubleday Café is just right for a break in the action when visiting Cooperstown. They have a nice lunch menu, they are family-friendly, and for a nightcap you can stop in for a glass of wine or a cold beer. We always meet friendly baseball fans there and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Our family ate breakfast here this morning and had a range of breakfast items. The service on one hand was slow and things were forgotten but the server was friendly and apologetic. But breakfast too about 2 hours. Set our day back a lot! All of the food was great with the exception of the French toast which was hard... More

We stayed 3 nights this past weekend at a hotel a few miles outside of Cooperstown which did not offer breakfast, so I scouted TripAdvisor a few days earlier for a solution. The first place we tried Saturday morning was the Cooperstown Diner. But, as the reviews suggested, the diner is so tiny that we had to get in the... More

Bustling in the morning for breakfast we ate here twice. Had omlettes one morning and breakfast sandwiches the next morning. Excellent service and really good food.

Really good breakfast! Soft and tasty waffles. So so good and delicious bacon! Great wait staff. Reasonably priced for the area. It does cost more than say, McDonald's, but worth it. Didn't try it out for other meals, but confident it would have been great!

If you enjoy rude staff, this is the place for you. Tried to have lunch there. Waitress took our name and said it would be about 5-10 minutes wait. A table opens up 10 minutes later, they clear it off and they ignore us and wouldn't seat us. A party of 6 walks in and she says "oh yeah I... More

This restaurant is timeless with no frills, which we like! On a crowded Main Street, this place was quiet, but not too quiet and it was accessible without a wait. The food was priced just right!
