The meals lack some TLC... Boring. Staff is pleasant and ambiance is great ! Worth it if you are at the bar and enjoying a good beer...

We were in Cooperstown to visit the Fenimore Museum and planned to have lunch at someplace along the lake. BUT the were all closed. The staff at the museum said they all close after Columbus Day. they suggested going downtown Cooperstown. The selection was not that great. Some restaurants were open only for dinner. We parked and started to walk... More

We had lunch at the Doubleday Café on our recent visit and found it to be excellent. There were many menu choices of all sorts, including several vegetarian options. I tried their veggie burger - made fresh on-site - and it was delicious as was my side of cole slaw. My husband had the chili special which came with a... More

Great place to get a bite to eat. We stopped by for lunch during a visit to the Baseball hall of Fame. Good service and a delicious meal. Lots of food choices. I definitely would go back again. Happy we happened upon this place.

We ate here in August of this year several times for breakfast. Food was great and the service was really good. It can get very busy but they seem to move the crowd through very efficiently. Would definitely eat here again.

Had the hot dog and fries and they stayed warm the whole meal. That is very important to me. Server was good, staff were all very friendly. Enjoyed our time there.

I ordered a turkey sandwich and French fries to go from this restaurant, and I was it was all delicious! This is one of my favorite casual cafes to eat at in Cooperstown.

My family and I ate breakfast here and we were genuinely pleased! We ordered the oatmeal, veggie omelette, and the specials which include eggs, meat, toast, homefries and coffee. The homefries, which included onions, were delicious!! The oatmeal tasted very fresh and had fresh fruit, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the rye bread was amazing. They also had a... More

Since the shops in cooperstown are small because there isn't much room...some spots of the cafe can be a little squeeze! Ask to sit towards the back! Not the front. The food is very very good. Hamburger great taste. Grilled chicken sandwhich is fanatic! Fries are too! And deserts, holy! Great! Ask for specials. If I were to go back... More
