The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70, we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors. Our goals are to serve the freshest food, along with the best service, at the most reasonable prices. Great place for lunch or dinner in Cooperstown

The food and atmosphere are just great ! Service is fast even on a bustling day full of tourists. Wide variety, something for everybody. Very clean. Nice bar. You can even buy a shirt proclaiming Cooperstown as a "Drinking town with a Baseball Problem".

Had a corned beef platter which was done really well including the other items on the plate. $10 for a margarita in a small rocks glass which was not impressive and $7 for a shot! I won't have a cocktail there again but I would eat there again. Friendly staff.

My 14 yr. old son and I recently ate at the Doubleday Café on a trip to see the Baseball Hall of Fame. We had dinner the first night there and it was great. Large portions for the price and they had a good selection of beers on tap and in bottle. Try the Rare Vos from Ommegang Brewery on... More

My wife and I sat down to an over priced burger and fries disappointment. The burgers were very dry and very pricy, the waitress kept overlooking us and let our drinks go empty several times. We were rushed to hurry and eat and leave even though the restaurant was not very busy at all.

While visiting Cooperstown with friends on an impromptu weekend away, we stopped in the Doubleday Cafe for Sunday morning breakfast. This is a charming spot on the main street, decorated in the not unexpected baseball theme that is pervasive in Cooperstown. The breakfast menu was filled with the basics, along with more sophisticated offerings. The server was efficient and pleasant,... More

The Doubleday is within a block of the Hall of Fame, on the same side so there is only one street cross. The have a wide variety of items on the menu plus daily specials. Had the tuna wrap but could only eat half and took the other half with us. It was still good the next day. My wife... More

We took our three boys to see the BHOF over December break and our hotel suggested Doubleday café. We went for lunch and it was very crowded but we were seated quickly. I thought the variety on the menu was good for people looking for anything from healthy options to more indulgent food. My husband and I shared the tomato... More
