Stopped in for lunch while visiting Baseball Hall of Fame, across the street (down an alley). Off the congestion of the Main Street. Not crowded, friendly staff, fast service. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, like I made it at home. Grilled cheese was extra yummy ( not the average " like mom used to make"). Decor was cute. Definitely... More

There were 6 of us for dinner the evening of October 8, 2014. The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and did an outstanding job, especially considering it was busy this evening and it appeared that she was the only one working. She kept the pace pleasant, we were not rushed nor did we have to sit waiting for... More

Just off Main St. If you want a quiet place to eat in a busy village try this place. Waitress was attentive.

Just ate at Back Ally after visiting Baseball Hall of Fame. Good food. Nice selection. I had pastrami reuben that was very good. Sweet potato fries were not hot. My father had French dip sandwich. Very good. Decor was a fun western/cowboy theme. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back!!

Just off Main Street, this restaurant offers good meals at fair prices with generous portion. The bathrooms are a bit cramped and outdated.

Clean, nice atmosphere, the waitress was attentive and friendly...the jambalaya I had was real good and the fish and chips that my G-F had was delicious and very big, she was full after only half the portion

Really Large Menu and Beverage Choices for a Cooperstown Local restaurant. I had the Steak Fajitas and it was tasty and a well valued meal. The draft beer selections were very good as well as the wines. I recommend it for a family dinner or with friends as there is plenty of room and something for everyone.

Overall the food was good and reasonably priced. Grilled Cheese, Reuben, and Popcorn Shrimp Wrap were good sized, and adequate for our lunch needs. Total bill for four with two beers was $48.11. Pretty good for a lunch in Cooperstown during the season. However, we got stuck with the waitress who was having "one of those days". Long story short,... More

The. Back Alley was our getaway from the NBHOF, which took us 4 hours to see. At the two-hour Mark, it was 12:30, so we went there for lunch as a break from memorabilia. The Quasadillas were delicious and the diet coke well iced and refilled without asking. My only complaints would be cleanliness and service. Our server did her... More

Maybe it was an off night, but two of four entrees ordered were very poor and a third was brought to the table prepared incorrectly and then returned with the same problem. In addition, the sweet potato waffle fries tasted as if they were frozen and the Cesar salad dressing was probably from a jar. The meal was so unsatisfactory... More
