Best food & service so far

We have been to a number of eateries in Cooperstown, and this place has the best service and food by far. The salads are fresh and the food was hot and tasty.

Food was good, roof-too dining was special, and it was easy to meet up with other baseball families due to the proximity to town. Would eat here again!

We stopped here for lunch. The service was great and the restaurant itself is nice. The portions were very large.

We were in C-town for a baseball tournament and found this place by accident. Boy, am I glad we did. The lunches are very reasonably priced, most under $10. We were seated right away with a party of 10. Our server was excellent. I can't recall her name, but we left an extra tip beyond the obligatory 18% because she... More

There are many places to eat in Cooperstown. This is one of them. The service was slow. The food was average. The prices were no bargain.Three in our party has some form of fish. The broiled haddock is bland and forgettable. The fish and chips had a fin on the fish. the baked haddock was OK. the best meal was... More

So a group of 10 of us were in Cooperstown for the weekend. Saturday night we stopped in here for a drink and decided to stay and have dinner when it started to pour rain outside, looked like a good place. What a mistake. We all ordered and salads came out pretty quick. Salad was just a plain plate of... More

After spending the morning in the Baseball Hall of Fame, we broke for lunch at Back Alley Grille. I enjoyed the nachos and my husband had a grilled cheese sandwich.

The best thing about this place is that is across the street from the Hall of Fame. Went there with my wife and three kids ages 10, 10 and 12 for lunch. With tip lunch cost a hundred dollars. The food wasn't bad...my wife had a seasoned catfish Po' boy sandwich. The fish covered about half of the bread, pretty... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Baseball Hall of Fame, across the street (down an alley). Off the congestion of the Main Street. Not crowded, friendly staff, fast service. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, like I made it at home. Grilled cheese was extra yummy ( not the average " like mom used to make"). Decor was cute. Definitely... More

There were 6 of us for dinner the evening of October 8, 2014. The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and did an outstanding job, especially considering it was busy this evening and it appeared that she was the only one working. She kept the pace pleasant, we were not rushed nor did we have to sit waiting for... More
