Recently visited Cooperstown, NY and Baseball Hall of Fame and wanted to take in a local restaurant and we picked The Pioneer Patio Restaurant. We both picked more of their German food and were not disappointed in what we picked. The service was great and for being there in the off-season the prices are not to bad. Friendly folks along... Went there today because the owner was friendly and helpful. The service was fine but the quality of the food was poor. Only one refill for the soft drinks. Never again. Do not go there. Prices for specials are hidden. Place is a rip off. Kaiser rolls? I know a hamburger roll when I see one.

After a lengthy visit to the baseball Hall of Fame, my friend and I decided to have a late lunch , looking for something close by since it was cold and rainy. He recommended this restaurant, but admitted it had been several years since he last ate there. We were the only people inside ( there was another table of... More

Found this place after a visit to the Baseball HOF. It was raining and chilly, but the outside patio was covered and heated. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. One waitress even stopped a man from lighting up a pipe reminding him that there was no smoking on the patio. The food came out very quickly and was very good.... More

My husband and I absolutely love going to the Pioneer Patio. It has great food for a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner, great drinks, and prices. It's a very cute little restaurant with outdoor seating. The staff is always very friendly every time we go. My husband and I grew up in the Cooperstown area and currently... More

Obviously the owner doesn't read any reviews and has no plans to. $6 Bud Light bottles and $12 for a small rueben sandwich with a few chips.....We will NEVER go there again. Our server was great except she forgot to bring my husband his second beer, he had to go inside to get it.Such a disappointment and the owner seems... More

We were two families of four adults and five kids coming from the Baseball Dreampark. The food was OK and our server was very nice, but there's a reason they don't put drink prices on the menu. The four adults had three COORS LIGHT DRAFTS apiece and they whacked us for $6 on each of them. They also hide the... More

Stopped here after visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame before heading to ride the Glimmerglass Queen. Pleasant atmosphere sitting outside, food was good, nicely portioned. Our server was very nice and I would recommend this place.

The service was good and the food okay--nothing exceptional. Definitely overpriced, but considering this IS a tourist town it is to be expected. It was convenient to the Hall of Fame as we ate here for lunch and then went back to the musuem

Went for lunch, craving fish and chips and had the best haddock sandwich I've ever had, and I'm from Boston so that's saying a lot. They were pretty busy and the service was very good too.
