Nice day you should sit outside

Doing a bucket list visit to the baseball Hall of Fame and then found this cute little side street pub. It was a sunny fall day and the patio seating was perfect. Nice selection of beers and some fun options for sandwiches. The special of the day was a really nice fish, but our group really... read more

This informal and fun restaurant is an easy walk from the Hall of Fame. Professional and friendly staff immediately worked to accommodate our large group. Food and drink specials were available and made to order. Portions sizes were generous but not gluttonous. This restaurant has a definite feel good vibe. We will go again when we can sit out on... I needed something to go, and something that would hold for a few hours. Though what I had was not on the menu, they made it anyway. The folks were friendly. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

Four of us had lunch here while visiting the baseball hall of fame. Our bill without tip was $80.18. We had two pastrami sandwiches, a hamburger and a roast beef sandwich. Two of us had a glass of draft beer and two had a soda. All of us chose the chips with our sandwich (fries were an additional $3). This... More

stopped in on our way to the Baseball Museum for a quick lunch. Everyone in our party had a very tasty sandwich, mine with bacon and pork, a bison burger, and a couple reubens. They did have highchairs, but no changing table and nothing really on the menu for very young kids (little Mr. is 9 mo), but he did... More

We went on a day when it was pretty crowded. The waitress, April, was outstanding considering she had seven tables full of people to take care of on her own. She was cheerful, attentive, and quite efficient. This place is just a half a block off the main street one block from the hall of fame. It pays to get... More

Stopped in for lunch, had a perfectly prepared Rueben sandwich (with potato chips), a bowl of lobster bisque and an Iced Tea. Delicious. Sat on the patio in the alleyway, a nice break after visiting the Hall of Fame. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. But $36 (incl tip) for a soup and sandwich seems excessive, even for a tourist... More

I had the best Knockwurst sandwich! My husband had the bison burger it was excellent, nice and juicy.... 1/2lb!!!! Some prices are high, but there are many cheaper options on the menu. Staff was accommodating and friendly. We definitely would go back!!

My wife, a friend, and I stopped at the Pioneer patio for a lite dinner after a day on Otsego lake. We each ordered a drink and an entree. The kitchen was out of my wife first choice and she ended up settling for a salad with grilled chicken. Her drink was a vodka drink which ran about $11 My... More

The food was fine but way overpriced especially when served in baskets and paper cups. With tip we paid over 70 dollars for 2 soups, 3 sandwiches and 3 fountain beverages.
