Just poorly run: slow service, mediocre food (not without some bright spots), over-priced. Seems to cater to unsuspecting tourists. Sorry, hoped for better. But still has potential- the waitstaff is generally friendly and there are some good menu ideas. Hopefully owner will read reviews and make some changes to improve the overall quality of the diner's experience.

Wow, we had a great meal. The pulled pork sandwich was melt-in-your mouth fabulous, the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had, and the shrimp po-boy.... GREAT! We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and funny and efficient.... great experience.

In town for baseball tourney. Place looked good from the road as we like BBQ. Parked and immediately noticed people milling around inside and out. Stepped inside and waited in a crowd at the "please wait to be seated sign." Stood there a good 10 minutes with more and more people pushing in. Finally a greeter appeared looking overwhelmed with... I went here hoping to have a great BBQ experience and walked away with just an ok one. I had the full rack of ribs, beans and mac n cheese. The ribs were not fall of the bone so I was immediately disappointed. I was hoping the BBQ sause had a little more flavor and zip but in the end... More

Actually refused to leave the slaw off of a pulled pork sandwich for a 12 year old. The reason given was, "This is our signature sandwich and we will not serve it without the slaw, you can just take it off". The owner/chef obvious thinks highly of his $10 sandwich creation. Chicken strips were the same quality purchased in the... More

After reading the reviews was a bit concerned but gave it a try. Ribs were very good, sides of mac and cheese and beans were very good. Service was excellent, friendly and genuinely concerned. It is a safe bet for a decent feed of BBQ.

Burgers were fresh and BBQ sauce was great. Service was not the best but friendly. Sides are tasteless. Recommend the place down the road. Not worth the money we spent.

Our service and food was great. I did not read any reviews until afterwards and it appears that most did not like the service. Our waitress was Diana and she was great. We had the 1/2 rack of ribs and the Big Porker. We thought the food was very good. Apparently other reviews had issues with the service which they... More

Yesterday, my family took a drive up to Cooperstown and decided while en route to stop and get some lunch. Normally, we would have checked trip advisor before trying a new place, but I convinced my husband to stop based on the fact that this restaurant has been around for awhile and was obviously making enough money to relocate their...
