In town for baseball tourney. Place looked good from the road as we like BBQ. Parked and immediately noticed people milling around inside and out. Stepped inside and waited in a crowd at the "please wait to be seated sign." Stood there a good 10 minutes with more and more people pushing in. Finally a greeter appeared looking overwhelmed with... I went here hoping to have a great BBQ experience and walked away with just an ok one. I had the full rack of ribs, beans and mac n cheese. The ribs were not fall of the bone so I was immediately disappointed. I was hoping the BBQ sause had a little more flavor and zip but in the end... More

Actually refused to leave the slaw off of a pulled pork sandwich for a 12 year old. The reason given was, "This is our signature sandwich and we will not serve it without the slaw, you can just take it off". The owner/chef obvious thinks highly of his $10 sandwich creation. Chicken strips were the same quality purchased in the... More

After reading the reviews was a bit concerned but gave it a try. Ribs were very good, sides of mac and cheese and beans were very good. Service was excellent, friendly and genuinely concerned. It is a safe bet for a decent feed of BBQ.

Burgers were fresh and BBQ sauce was great. Service was not the best but friendly. Sides are tasteless. Recommend the place down the road. Not worth the money we spent.

Our service and food was great. I did not read any reviews until afterwards and it appears that most did not like the service. Our waitress was Diana and she was great. We had the 1/2 rack of ribs and the Big Porker. We thought the food was very good. Apparently other reviews had issues with the service which they... More

Yesterday, my family took a drive up to Cooperstown and decided while en route to stop and get some lunch. Normally, we would have checked trip advisor before trying a new place, but I convinced my husband to stop based on the fact that this restaurant has been around for awhile and was obviously making enough money to relocate their... I regret not having read the other reviews of this place before stopping. They have multiple listings on TripAdviser, but they are all consistently, and deservedly bad. The prices are absurd for poor to mediocre food. At $10 & $12 each, the medium-rare "Angus" burgers we ordered would best be described as incinerated worcestershire-soaked meatballs. Both burgers were beyond well-done... More
