I recently visited this tavern after a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Not only was the service great, the prices were reasonable but they had amazing chicken wings! ( We got the Cooley's House and Buffalo Garlic) Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a local favorite !

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Staff is friendly and there is a countdown clock to St. Patrick's Day! Loved the music. Located right around the corner from Baseball Hall of Fame. Must stop!

We went here and we went x street to Shermans Tavern. We prefer Shermans for service, friendliness and atmosphere. Yes its a tad more rough around the edges at Shermans but for my money its 'homier and free popcorn which I needed after eating at Alex & Ima's. Try them both see what you think....

I'm a big fan of visiting local bars when traveling. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and the night before we wanted to go out for some drinks and get a bite to eat around 9pm right after we arrived in town. There are 2 bars in town, this one and one directly across the street.... More

As a local, this is the place to hang-out. Unless you are trying to hook-up or start a fight. Then, you go across the street. This is a great place to go for a cheap lunch and a pint. They usually have a daily dinner special. Probably, not the best place for dinner in the Summer as it is very... More

Looking for a late night meal we walked in at 9:55pm and kitchen stops at 10. They were great about feeding us. Loved the French dip.

We only had time to stay for a few drinks but the service was excellent and we enjoyed the local vibe.

We were looking for a place to get a decent lunch, and we chose here. From the initial look we thought it might just be a bar, but it turned out to have a limited lunch menu. In addition to grill items, there were sandwiches available. There’s a dining room in the back, but we were sitting in the booth... More

We felt lucky to get a seat during Saturday afternoon of Induction weekend, but that was short lived. We ended up here after a search for the best burger in Cooperstown pointed us this way. If this is the best burger in Cooperstown then they need some new chefs... Very mediocre and the service was just awful. I don't know... More

Stopped here for lunch. When we arrived and ordered the place was almost empty. Our waiter disappeared, beverages emptied, other people arrived they were served, our waiter was still M I A . Two hamburgs, chicken wings and fries is not a difficult order. After those who arrived after we ordered were leaving, our waiter returned to tell us our... More
