Best Gourmet Restaurant in Congers

I can say Restaurant X is a welcome additions to Congers, NY. We had a group lunch there so I can witness and tried some of the dishes there. For Appetizers- We had coconut shrimp( good), Wild Mushroom Ravioli ( very good) , Scallops( very good) and for the main dishes, we had Seared Salmon( OK... read more

We have been customers of Peter Kelly's restaurants for over 16 years, since he was in Garrison, NY. Tonight we came for the "Cowboy Rib Eye Steak Dinner for two". It was our anniversary and we have celebrated many occasions at these restaurants. We had to ask for bread, the first steak was so tough that we could NOT cut... More

1.0 star rating 7/16/2015 Peter Kelly, you broke my heart tonight. Every year I look forward to coming up to NY and visiting one of your restaurants. Restaurant X was always spot on--until tonight. Last year Xavier was beyond disappointing......Each time we have gone to celebrate my birthday. Tonight was especially upsetting......and it all could have been avoided if your... More

Chef Kelley was present so he is in charge to be fair. This is about an 18 course brunch, reasonably priced including unlimited Prosecco. I will describe as many dishes as I could remember . Breads were nice. Name brand prosecco. Caesar salad could have been crisper but tasty. Bagel with nova very nice. Tortellini good. Farfelle was not al... More

We went for the cowboy rib-eye special. Food was great. Never had a rib-eye this good. Service was excellent. Great place. A little pricey, but good for a special occasion.

The menu has a great selection and the specials sounded even better. Extremely nice plating and great drinks. As soon as you walk in the place it has a warm home like feeling. The bar seating area is very nice and looks like something I would visit separate from the dinning rooms. The restrooms could use a little work but... More

After coming to this restaurant numerous times I was very disappointed today with brunch. As usual the food was good, however I can not say the same for the staff. Tracy our head waitress was very nice and helpful. The same was not true for the staff that served us. Food was dropped on one of us twice and no... More

A very special restaurant for both every day dining or that special occasion. Once you've eaten the Tuna you'll never be happy with it anywhere else. Dining in the bar is also great especially mixing choices from both the bar and regular menus. You will love the staff and service.

We had a lovely evening of wine and tapas at the bar. Elegant and relaxed atmosphere. The barkeep had a great working knowledge of the wines and pairings

One of the best dinner experience was last night for four of us. Food was excellent, but the staff and service beyond wonderful from the valet to the hostess to the bus person and our waiter Philipe (pronounced the French way). The four of us just hit it off from the minute he came to our table and stayed that... More
