Average Diner, High price

We had heard a lot about this diner and finally visited. It was during the week, as weekends are extra crowded. I wonder why they get so much hype. The menu is large as are most LI diners. The food was ok but our toast was late (half way done with breakfast) and the waitress looked like she... read more

I frequent the Premier Diner and have never been disappointed. I was there last night with my wife and had the scrod dinner special. The portion was huge and very flavorful. They are alway consistent with the food prep and service. It's far better and cleaner than the Candlelight Diner. The cost of the food is more pricier than other... More

I had the chicken pot pie, which was $21 and it was nothing special, and with a price like that it should have been much better. Everyone in our group seemed to feel the same way, the food was ok, but not memorable.

The menu at Premier Diner will take you awhile to read - lots of choices. Was there for dinner - very busy - wait staff rather impatient. Food service was fairly quick - quality was okay - nothing remarkable. Many desserts to choice from - all are fresh - probably (no is) the best part of this restaurant.

If you get one of those very pricey salads, better share it with someone. They're huge! The marinated chicken is delicious. This is pretty much all I get when I go here. I'm sure their burgers are fine. But it's a diner. Don't try to get too fancy.

This place is always packed for dinner. We try to go for late lunch or early dinner. Parking lot is kind of tight. Been here quite a few times and haven't had a bad meal yet. Large affordable portions are served here. One time I had a waitress mess up my order and serve me something different. She gave me... More

We visited this diner since it was in close proximity to the Hampton Inn behind it. We were visiting due to a close by wake we were attending. We did arrive around lunch time and had to wait due to being crowded but were seated pretty fast. The service was very fast upon being seated and being greeted by our... More

I was staying at the Hampton Inn and wanted something quick to eat for dinner. I chose the Pastrami and Swiss Panini sandwich, which came with fries and cole slaw with pickle. The portion was very big so I had leftovers to take back to the hotel. The sandwich was OK - whatever they buttered the bread with didn't taste... More

I considered Premier Diner to be my favorite diner in the area until today. This is the second time in two weeks that I had to return a sandwich because the bread was stale. However this time they brought it back and the second sandwich had stale bread as well. When I asked to speak to the manager he came... More

We ordered spinach pie and Greek salad. The spinach pie ($21.95, with a soup or salad and a dessert, no beverage) was doughy, and the waitress made a couple of mistakes with the order. She also put her hand on top of the glass (touching the edges where I drink). Prices are high. Will not go back there. One "good"... More
