I avoided dining at this place since all I ever heard was 'you get huge bowls of pasta'. Now I like pasta, but lets face it, it can be really boring if not done right. My wife got a gift card to the place, so I reluctantly went. Wow was I surprised, the menu is extensive, the place is really... More

I had been to this particular Buca before and had found no issue in the past but was sorely disappointed by my recent experience. We were there on a Saturday night and it was very busy so we were understanding to an extent. It took a very long time for our waitress to come to our table to take our... More

What was good: the food was pretty good (didn't blow my socks off or anyting), the atmosphere promoted home-style sharing, which was fun, and our server (Katy) was wonderful. The bad: there were only 4 out of the 8 needed chairs at the table when we were sat (we had a reservation so this should have been all set). 6... More

We go here 2-3 times a year - very consistent and the service is excellent. Don't fill up on appetizers - the main courses are enormous. Share - Share - Share

What a fun restaurant. The walls are entirely covered with old photos of Italian scenes, families and film stars. The meals are served in big bowls and are meant to share. The wait staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food was quite delicious and there was so much of it for quite a reasonable price. We would definitely... More

This restaurant was one that was recommended at the hotel we were staying at near the Albany airport. A small group of us went there and were very happy with everything. Thank goodness the menu said upfront that the small size really was for two. My wife and I shared the prociutto stuffed chicken breast and even then we had... More

Like being around the table at Grandma's house when I was a kid. The bowls are plentiful and all dishes are delicious. This family style chain restaurant has many small and big table set ups so you can be a cozy two or sit around a table with 15+ people. Request the kitchen table which is literally in their kitchen.... More

We have been coming to this restaurant over the years and always enjoy the food and experience. On this particular visit, there were 4 adults, and we were able to snag the "kitchen" table, which holds 6. You have your own separate space with a perfect view of what is happening in the kitchen. And this is a very busy... More

This place, although somewhat of a chain as there are other around the country, is fantastic. I have been there many times, and my favorite, hands down, is the "Linguine Frutti di Mare". Family dining, so everyone gets to share. Make sure you don't go with anyone who's too selfish to order something that everyone else doesn't like. Great service,... More
