Great dining experience and food; a lovely restored home; but recently I hear it closed and is going to be a school come Fall 2014: a real lost

This place has closed and is now going to be a private school. No food available here. Look elsewhere in Cold Spring. Someone needs to remove this as a restaurant.

I have dined at Plumbush several times and each visit has been a superb experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The meals and service have always been excellent. The ambiance is exquisite. I am anxious to return.

Brought a group of 17 for Sunday brunch on 7/22/12 having first toured Boscobel on a gorgeous sunny day. The ambience, service and food were excellent. Jeanette, who I had liaised with in the booking was admirable and the whole experience helped to make our day. Highly recommended.

We love coming to this Inn whether for a light lunch or dinner. We have been coming here for years and we have "NEVER" had a bad brunch, lunch or dinner. The owners are the best, they take care of your ever need. I have seen past reviews and these people just know quality amazing food, nor do they seem... More

We went twice in February, once for the Sunday Brunch and once for their St Valentine Day special. It's our favorite place to go for special occasions, and in both these visits Plumbush Inn lived up to our expectations and surpassed them. The Beef Wellington is as good as it gets, and their hot bread pudding is nothing like you've... More

The Plumbush Inn is an intimate dining experience. The rooms are cozy and some have a fireplace. The food is outstanding and the chef offers creative and beautifully executed meals that are of the highest standards. The Plumbush is a restaurant for fine dining and foodies that appreciate fine service, excellent food and the execution required to pull it all... More

Plumbush Inn is located in bucolic surroundings near Cold Spring. The facilities and kitchen have apparently been optimized for parties, weddings, and large events. It is tough on the couple who simply want a well prepared meal. On our visit the food was of good institutional quality, tasting almost as if it was kept on a steam table. We have... More

Visited Plumbush Inn with my wife during the week, when it was not very busy. We sat on the porch overlooking the lawn; apparently the tables are moved into during cold or inclement weather. The food was very, very good, especially the artichoke risotto, which I tried since I had not had it before. Truly wonderful. Deserts were also fabulous.... More

We arrived with a party of eight for a Sunday lunch. The experience was fair to poor. Poor service included having to wait way too long for a waiter to take our order. Way too long to deliver the order. Silverware was taken, but not replaced until asked. We arrived at 12:30, a half hour after opening, but one item... More
