We knew we had made the right choice when I was greeted with "Happy Birthday" before we were even seated, based on our telephone reservation. We loved our fireside table for two and the tastefully festive decor throughout the dining room as well as the subtle holiday music. What a relaxing ambiance! Our server Amy was a delight: good-humored, attentive... More

Delicious food, relaxing waterfront dining indoor or out. I have been here five times for dinner, every time is perfect, delicious. A little more money than others but definitely worth it. You get what you pay for.

We love when new restaurants come to town, especially those of us living here year around. So many of our establishments are open for the summer tourism season only. The Harbor Hotel offers a new facility in a great location with the promise of service 12 months of the year. We have great expectations for the Seaway Grill(e) and hope... More

The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel opened in the small town of Clayton, New York in late July of this year. The Seaway Grill is the restaurant in the Hotel. As our daughter works for an upscale Hotel in Southern California, we thought she would enjoy dining at The Grill. Our waitress, Katie, was knowledgeable, fun, and efficient. My husband loves... Came in for dinner with my husband and had a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is wonderful. Dim lighting, perfect view of the river and the bar is outstanding. Wasn't impressed with the wine list not having moscato. It's a staple for most all places that serve wine. The dining room was almost full and from what we could tell there was... More

We have a summer home in the area and were thrilled when this opened. It has a beautiful view of the river, beautiful decor and open patio. We came with a couple of friends over the Labor Day weekend and it was a disappointment. The service was awful - they were polite, but extremely slow. We were guessing they were... More

We are locals who dine out frequently & don't mind paying for a good meal. We actually had reservations for our 3rd dinner there that week. We were seated with our menus and given water and then apparently became invisible. Staff waited on people all around us while we weren't even acknowledged. In addition to the wait staff, there were... More

I ate lunch here on a perfect sunny afternoon in August. Lunch is a great, inexspensive , way to sample this restaurant. I had a steak sandwich and fries for about twelve dollars. The food was basic and good. I loved sitting near the river in this upscale space. The dinner menu is quite pricey but I would consider it... More

Stopped here for breakfast with family. We were seated promptly on the patio, the service was friendly and the food very good! Best of all, the patio overlooks the channel of the St. Lawrence Seaway! A simply awesome setting. Looked at the dinner menu and wine list. It is nice to find a restaurant featuring so many regional wines! We... More

Went here on a Sunday night with group of three. We were seated outdoors quickly. Food was excellent: calamari and clam appetizers were amazing. Swordfish, duck and shrimp linguini main dishes were all top notch. Nice panoramic views of the river. Waitstaff are very friendly but are on the greener side of the profession... Be patient and you will have... More
