Friendly waitstaff, prices were excellent and portions were very good; bottomless coffee and very clean inside. Highly recommend!

We have had breakfast here every time we are in Clayton. Great eggs Benedict and a garlic omelet. Great home fries and fresh toast. Employees are long time and very professional. Open all year round.

Enjoyed breakfast with other tourists and the locals in one of Clayton's original restaurants. Eclectic decor, great service! Be warned--all of their selections seemed to feature large portions of homecooked food.

When you are traveling and looking for a great local restaurant this is it. Open all year, family friendly and a great staff. Breakfast is always hot, and outstanding service.

I spend quite a few weekend in Alex Bay, and I make it a point to drive to Clayton for breakfast at least once or twice a season just to eat here. Fantastic breakfast and great prices.

Went to Clayton in the off season, koffee kove is one of the few open year round. Was busy every morning. Seems to be the place locals go, so that's always a good thing. Breakfest was amazing everytime we went. Service was quick and portions are not an issue. Price is a bit higher then usual for a Breakfest but... More

When you first arrive, you will typically see a line. Even in the off-season, locals flock here. However, there are many tables and the wait staff are efficient; the kitchen is good at getting your food out quickly. Wooden booths are designed to mimic the old-fashioned wooden skiffs of the St. Lawrence river. The place is clean, and the staff... More

Although I have not experienced dining at the Koffee Kove recently, it has always been quite satisfactorily in the recent past. I was always pleased with whatever I ordered and the amount of the order was always generous. I found the service to be prompt and the fare generally on the North Country hearty side. Popular place and for good... More

We've had breakfast here several times. It's the "go to" place for breakfast in Clayton. Good service, good food, lots of local folks. We asked the server the population of Clayton. She said I ask the mayor, she's at the next table. We had a nice conversation with Norma the mayor of the Town of Clayton. It's that kind of... More
